I went to Pan’e Dolci on Sunday Morning around 10am. They were out of St. Joseph pastries & the girl behind the counter had an attitude… sighing & rolling eyes… when asked if they were making any more pastries. When they brought them out, I purchased 4. When I got home they had virtually NO custard filling in them. Not only are they overpriced, but the service was not good & the quality of the pastry was not good at all. I will be taking my business to Doris’ in Coral Springs & make the extra trip from now on.

Service? What service?the rudest girl ever. Absolutely disgusting! 4 day old baked goods. I think they get everything from another bakery and resell it at a higher price. The coffee was the most disgusting coffee I've ever had. Watered down nonsense. Shouldn't even be called coffee. Hard pass!!!

The sugar levels of their gelato is perfect! You taste real flavor and perfectly made gelato texture.

Our first visit was great, the barista prepared a great tasting shot of dark espresso. The following visits (4 or 5) the shots were OK, but the preparation of the milk based drinks was awful.

They scorched the milk (doing 2 or 3 times steam cycles for one drink). I asked for the last one to be “not too hot” to avoid them doing this, and it was still over steamed.

Despite this issue, I would go back for (and recommend) the affogato, their gelato was awesome!

Mixed feelings about this place. We were in Florida last year and found everything to be top notch. The baked goods were so delicious that we packed a box to take home. Only wish we could have brought the gelato home with us! We returned this year full of anticipation. I didn't eat any of the baked goods while i was there, just purchased several pounds to take home. The gelato did not disappoint. When we got home and began eating the cookies, we found them to be inedible and ultimately had to toss them. They were either made with old ingredients, or they were well past their expiration date. There was no exception. We tried every cookie. I sent the owners a message letting them know before i put in this review, but did not get a response. Hence, you are reading this.

Small establishment, with a large selection of homemade pastries and drinks that are fresh and tasty. 5 stars but they need to pay attention to their restrooms.
