The tacos and elote' were great as was their guacamole flight, but their red salsa is needlessly sweet.Parking: About $4 an hour. But it is close to the pier and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea venues.
The food was great, but the service was really disappointing. Waitress wasn’t friendly at all and looked like she didn’t want to be there. It was the worst experience out of the 4 restaurants I tried nearby and I wouldn’t recommend this one.

My server, who I believed was named Rene very disrespectfully sat my table down. After disappearing again, he finally returned to take our orders. My wife, a bit heavier woman I will admit, ordered both the Guacamole Flight and the Gringo Taco, to which he snickered in her face and turned to me to ask “Are you sure she needs those extra calories?”. To which I requested he not make those comments. He proceeded to shrug and say “I guess you like carrying those pounds.” as he walked away to put in our orders. When he turned to walk away, I saw he did not even write down our choices, but instead an extremely large woman with many body rolls. When he returned with our food, it was not at all wha we requested. He brought my wife a kale salad and gave me refried beans. When my wife requested her proper meal, he chuckled and asked “What, you allergic to vegetables? You sure look it.” My wife proceeded to burst into tears. When I explained to him my allergy to beans, he just told me to “let my wife eat it, you know she’ll inhale it.” My wife attempted to get out of her chair to leave the establishment, however he tripped her and she collapsed, leaving a large imprint in the floor, which he added to our receipt titled as “Biggie Bill”. Safe to say I will never come here again.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere on the main drag at Lauderdale by the Sea.We had walked thru here the night before, scoping out places for today. This place caught our eye, and we were NOT disappointed.We ordered drinks, the ultimate nachos, and 2 tacos each. There was a little SNAFU where they realized that the tacos my wife ordered might not be safe for her shellfish allergy, but the manager himself came over to make sure we knew the safest options.The ultimate nachos were the best nachos I've ever had in my entire life. Not even close. From the chips to the guacamole to the cheese to the refried beans, absolutely outstanding!I ordered the Baja fish and local fish tacos. Both had a really nice mix of flavors paired with the juicy and well seasoned fish. I liked the Baja fish tacos the best.My wife had the carne asada tacos, which she described as tender and delicious.The waiter, Jose, was friendly and very helpful. The manager Angelo was personable, and helped us figure out the allergy thing and get our replacement food promptlyI'm a little shocked we were able to finish off the nachos, they were pretty big! But I couldn't get myself to leave any behind. Our only regret is getting too full to indulge in margaritas!

They changed the happy hour to be at the bar only, so families with kids can not take advantage. It seems crazy to offer $5 drinks at the bar 5 feet away and $15 at the table. There are food discounts as well so unless you want to pay more while other people get to pay less at the bar don’t plan on visiting during happy hour 4-7pm. Very disappointed as we used to go every Friday with our kids.
