For this spot, I'd say don't judge a book by its cover. The blue exterior is contrasted by a clean, warm and welcoming interior. It's soul food at its finest. We had fried and grilled fish, shrimp, greens, cornbread and mac and cheese. Everything was seasoned well and very tasty. The portion size is so impressive, you may need a to go box. They even have a good selection of desserts that include chocolate, caramel, red velvet and pound cake. They also offer cobblers. The desserts didn't disappoint. If you're looking for soul food, this is the place to go. It's small and out of the way but worth the trip.

The best Jamaican and American dishes and fantastic tastes. Great atmosphere and centrally located.

New & Improved merger with Divine Caribbean. The daily soup was finished so I received a complimentary cup of the Goat Head soup to try. It was delicious! Spicy, hearty and full of my favorite spinners. I ordered the Oxtail dinner with rice and peas, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. Hefty portion easily serves 2. Improvements in furnishings and decor would earn them the final, a fifth star.

No business etiquette. Cashier sitting down to take your money. 30 cent surcharge for using debit card. Just because you can cook food does not mean you should be in business. Waited 15 minutes to pickup peach cobbler and banana pudding. Will not be going back.

The food is good most of the time. They have gone up on their prices. The food has become a little pricey for what they serve. The service is very sucky they advertise to close at 9 but I have gone there on multiple occasions and the doors are locked hours before closing time. So if you do decide to come here you never know what you're going to get. They may say online they close at 9 but when you get there they closed at 6. I have even called to see what time they would be closing and was told on the phone one time and when I got there after driving way across town, they had closed for the day per the owner. With the food price hikes and the unreliable hours it seems like the business may be struggling, however it is not right for the owner to put that off on the customers that do still patronize. They are going to continue to loose customers is they keep on with this pattern because it is not very professional in my opinion.

This place reminds me of what our soulfood restaurant use to be. We had a delightful breakfast. The food was good. The serving size was very good and prices are affordable. The restaurant is tuck in a busy strip mall and a delicious soulfood find.
