I eat food from Lakes Restaurant almost everyday!!!! They're food is always the best and it's not usually a long wait for the good. It's usually a 10-15 minute wait at the most. Calling prior to arrival is best. You won't regret taking your pocketbook and your tastebuds to Lakes Restaurant. I know one of the Chefs personally, so I know the food is always excellent!

Please get off of Uber eats if you can not fulfill orders. I don't think it is fair for a customer to have to wait close to an hour for their food to later be told you no longer have the item available. I would suggest you have inventory to sell before advertising on Uber eats.

I attempted to call the restaurant for an order, as it was so highly recommended; however, my initial call was placed on hold, and the employee never got back to me. I called back and was told to call back 10 minutes later, as they were busy and had phone issues. As she explained those concerns, and I questioned the menu prices, the young lady, Deneka, mentioned again that she was not trying to rush me; however, they are busy. I really wanted to try this place and had 3 co-workers who also wanted to as well; however, because of the first impression from today, we will not. If there are no one to answer the phones, then place the customer on hold with the intent to retrieve the call.
I went there today for the first time. I have never been to a Haitian restaurant with a nice ambience! I didn't have to wait long for my food, the a staff is nice & the food is delicious! I will be going back!

This place is so beautiful and the employees are so friendly and go above and beyond. This is my third time here and I had the fish platter the first time and second time I had the Grio platter and last week Tuesday I had the boullion omg so good, I am definitely come back today for lunch and later on for boullion night: and the Chef he made me a special lakes drink that was to die for. I'm not a fruity drink girl but this one I like fresh and smooth.
