After hearing rave reviews from friends, I finally checked out Montego Bay Grille and Cafe—and wow, what a find!

Tucked away in a clean, unassuming strip mall, this cozy gem instantly welcomes you with island vibes. But let’s talk about the real star: the food.

Today I had the famous jerk chicken, and let me tell you—it absolutely blew me away. The balance of bold jerk spices, smokiness, and tender, fall-off-the-bone meat was perfection.

Now, I may be a white boy, but I’ve had my fair share of island eats—especially Jamaican—and this jerk chicken ranks among the very best I’ve ever tasted.

Next on my list: the Fresh Snapper Escovitch, available Thursday through Friday. I hear the owner sources it straight off the boats—talk about fresh!

One of my favorite spots in all of Florida. I get take out here at least 3x a week. The service is great and the food is AMAZING. The Jerk Chicken is top tier.

Great food and excellent service! The atmosphere was cozy, and the curry goat and jerk pork was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place!

The jerk chicken was good however the peas and rice was over cooked. The service was pleasant and atmosphere gave an island bar/ restaurant feel. Good deals on the lunch specials.

The rice was microwaved in the box. The pork was just a few bits lost of fats and skin. 8.50 and no receipt no menu. You must gotta pay by your .It’s better to go to Across the street at Back Of Yard you won’t loose. below is a pic and you can see the Styrofoam is burnt because they will heated the rice right inside and all the meat is a bunch of fat. I must’ve got about three or four pieces out of it five tops.

This is what I bought for lunch. Fiona is awesome! Shr listens and definitely gets the order correct. I love how she presents the meal and her customer service is perfect.
I just wish she was allowed to receive her tip personally, as she darn well deserves. I would recommend everyone to give them a try. 100/10 I will be back!!

Got lunch from Montego Bay today. I was helped by Ms. Fiona her customer service was excellent, the food was shared beautifully and tasted great.

Worst food ever. Especially for the price tag. Jerk chicken was so dry the chicken cut my gums. I’m gonna let the rice slide because I was hungry and it seemed to pair well with the so call slaw. Again dry with little to no flavors. 2 points above Donna’s and jerk machine.

This restaurant has definitely evolved, I love the set up, I ordered bbq chicken and dined in (January 2025) the food can be better! It’s not the best I’ve had but it’s edible.

The flavor was on point … I’m definitely coming back soon

Decided to try a lunch at this Jamaican restaurant, total disappointed, the rice and peas was not tasteless and the bar b Que chicken wasn’t fresh, I’m thinking it was the fry chicken from the previous day and bar b Que the next, don’t know how these people are comfortable selling this quality of food to unsuspecting customers, I hope this review will help them to serve fresh food in the not to distant future, I’m an island person and know of the food and culture, at present it difficult to find consistently in quality of the food being served

Delicious food and outstanding staff. The owner is amazing. Come by and see her.

This morning I had the kidney with boiled bananas yam and dumplin. It was not salty seasoned very well. The food was on point.
