Dutch Pot Restaurant - Lauderdale Lakes

The food is always good but it’s annoying that every time i come here i have to scream into the intercom for someone to hear my order. They need to get either the intercom fixed or better headsets for the workers to give a good customer service experience

I love this place but the woman that was serving the food the one that says Good afternoon very loud is extremely rude , she has glasses , she talk to my husband and I with an attitude because I was asking question. She seems very annoyed with everyone . It wasn’t just us every person she gave an attitude. Why is she serving ? She needs to be in the back sweeping or washing dishes away from customers .

No hand soap at the restroom!!! For a restaurant that is necessary!!!

Bought food here on Monday (fried chicken,rice and peas with curry gravy), cabbage and plantain. Today is Wednesday and im still throwing up and on the toilet. Smh..the soup was decent. Thats all.

The lunch we had was jerk chicken and the fried chicken and my gawd... it was fresh and delicious 😋.

If you never had Jamaican food you’re not missing anything, all the soups taste exactly the same and mediocre. The cheap lunch specials will sustain you but are just meh. Chef tally got some bomb jerk chicken other than that Jamaican food is really mids,

I’ve been going to Dutch pot for some time now and the cashier that makes all the difference is Ms. Vereen/Verene. She is always in a pleasant and cheerful mood! She is polite and a breath of fresh air compared to the rude ones. I think by now everyone should know the speaker at Dutch pot obviously doesn’t work that well. However, you have some ignorant cashiers who get upset when you have to be yelling into the speaker and they can’t hear you. It happens way too often. It’s certainly not the customer’s fault that the speaker doesn’t work, why take out your anger on us? However, not my Vereen! Lol. She’ll tell you to pull foward so she can hear you better. It’s always a sigh of relief when I hear it is Vereen taking my order. Vereen girl I hope everyone is polite to you as you are to them! Keep on smiling and making our day! You’re one of the reasons we choose to Dutch pot! 🙂

Food is consistently great!! They hardly run out of items on the menu. Friendly staff with very good service!

My only issue is they count the meat pieces. Especially the oxtail smh

The food was good, but when I was chewing, I felt something really hard in my mouth and it looks like something from what they washed the dishes with. I’m not sure how much of this I have ate already. But my stomach is killing me.
