Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food .Don and his wife Usha went beyond expectation for us recently. The food was superb and tasty..big portions and priced affordable .Will be visiting soon. Thanks for accommodating us for our mom's repast..

Okay, first of all - by far the best restaurant in the University Drive rd, my Caribbean friend recommended this place and I visited it with my nephew, but this place is too good and definitely a place to go on a date. I tried the Caribbean beer and it’s just so good. I couldn’t think of one thing to complain about and that’s why I am writing this review which I usually don’t. I am a foodie and do lots of food exploration and this one is the best in the recent times. Didn’t know Caribbean food can be this good or is it the restaurant.

Vegetarian options: My nephew is a vegetarian but eats eggs and this place has like 10 different things to choose from. Its Impressive, but still would recommend to check for the menu if you are just going there to have vegetarian food only.

I was scrolling through YouTube when I came across Carib Island Restaurant out of curiosity. After reading the reviews, I saw many positive comments praising the Caribbean-Chinese food, though a few had concerns. One review mentioned that the food wasn’t halal, wasn’t freshly cooked, and included pork.
I decided to visit, as the restaurant was only 7 miles away. I was warmly greeted by a polite gentleman and seated. The menu confirmed they didn’t serve pork, and they had a halal certificate. I asked the owner about the review, and he explained that those were false claims but assured me they were completely inaccurate.
My food took about 10-12 minutes, as it was made fresh. It was delicious, with generous portions. The restaurant had a clean, peaceful atmosphere with soft music. I highly recommend this place to all my friends, including my Muslim friends, who I’m sure will enjoy it as much as I did.

Honestly, I can give more stars if I could. I am visiting this place again for sure. Stew Fish is just awesome. The waitress there was cute and was really nice.

The food aint worth the price, better places with 1/2 price around the area. looks nice but aint worth the money. never come back

I rearly write reviews. But I have been to this place a few times since it opened and I have never been disapointed. The owners are always very pleasant. I like that its a family owned restaurant, becuase you can see they take pride in the everything. I consider myself a foodie and its very important to have good food which they do. I plan on going to this restaurant as much as I can, only wish I lived closer. If you like Caribbean food try this place.

Very clean and nice atmosphere. Price is a little higher than most places. Did not like the mandatory 18 % gratuity charge. We asked the server for general chow shrimp. Said it was available. We got pepper shrimp with " general chow sauce " The owner and the server didn't understand the issue with that. The house special soup tasted very bland.
Not a wanna go back experience.

We took a trip down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida recently. This was a popular restaurant we discovered on Tik Tok and Google. The moment we walked into the door my husband and I were greeted with so much hospitality and care by the owners. We ordered a chicken fried rice and Chinese chicken. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! And the pepper sauce was actually hot and tasty! I highly recommend you take a visit down here whenever in the area or in Fort Lauderdale. I saw this place walking past Tates bookshop, and was intrigued by the menu. When i stopped by with friends they had a nice atmosphere and amazing food. Strong drinks at a good price. Would come back again.

I am smiling like a kid in a toy store!. We ordered the Chinese Chicken with fried rice and chowmein; OMG peppa on di side. This was too orgasmic! The tender chicken texture, flavor will amaze your taste buds! The ambiance in restaurant is soothing and relaxing to chill and with a big bar areas and friendly staff. I look forward to our next meal, maybe crab and dumpling or pepper shrimp with fried rice. Biggup to the owners! You definitely have a lovely restaurant with magical food.
