I ordered “cheese” patty but got back to palm beach to oily beef patty. Very disappointed. They got the crust down good and the coco bread good but the patty recipe it self needs work. The service was as expected for a Jamaican establishment so yeah.

Patty's was really good. The crust was flakey and delicious and the filling has great texture and flavor. Service was surprisingly good, servers was quite pleasant and courteous. I gave a 4 star because the patty was a bit too greasey. My favorite patty is the stew chicken patty.

I grew up in Carol City where the magic of Hammonds started. What we have here in 2024 is just a shadow. I bought a bread on Sunday that was supposedly baked on Saturday. All dry and trashy. Avoid this place unless you get it straight out of the oven. Maybe good for bread pudding...

Went to the spot to buy guava cheese pastries. I bought half a dozen to be exact. Got home and they were stale. I drove back to return them. They took them back and baked a brand new set for me. I was very impressed by the customer service. And oh did the pastries taste delicious.

Went to this spot over the weekend. I often heard of “Hammonds” but never been, finally decided to go and I must say the customer service was efficient. I ordered a spicy beef patty with coco bread. The Beef meat did not taste good and didn’t have any flavor. The bread was good. That’s it.
I tried this bakery for the first time yesterday. The jamaican pastries were fire, but the patties were a no for me bc it had too much meat in it, and the meat was mushy like they put it in a blender, it also had a lime/ vinegar tangy taste like it was going bad. I had to drink some chamomile tea after eating the patty bc I was feeling sick.

OMG OMG. I haven't visited here yet but ordered from online by doordash. In there patties are delicious just perfect. I never leave reviews online but I had too for this place. There patties are soft, filling is out of this world and I'm definitely coming to visit the chef. I had the ackee, meatloaf, and beef patty but mild. Just outstanding but I wish you guys would add your meals on doordash too. So I can try the meal next. Definitely advise everyone to come here for a patty to remember.

Hammond’s used to be good. I bought 7 Pattie’s — curry chicken, ackee & salt-fish. I tossed ALL 7 in the trash because the filling tasted like vinegar. Yuck! Please monitor your cooks and the kitchen because someone is putting vinegar in the food.Service was fast and friendly but the patties were disappointing. I usually stop by when I'm in town but doubt I’ll ever go back if vinegar in the food is part of the new recipe.
