Food is very good. Whenever I'm in Fort Lauderdale, I make sure to stop by. The service is a little slow and the pate and johnny cakes are not always available but you are always greeted with a smile by Ms. Joan and her son.
The staff here is notably amiable. They assisted me in understanding the menu and made appetizing recommendations. It's an excellent choice for venturing into Caribbean culinary delights.
Joans food is a taste of home served with Caribbean charm. Joan, the owner is always there to make sure the food is on point every time. HER SATURDAY menu is worth the drive of an hour or so and she's never failed to have my order ready and 100% correct if given 45 minutes advanced notice. From virgin Island pates to Johnny cakes washed down with authentic gingerbeer you just can't go wrong if your goal is to have a great meal that is a taste of the Caribbean which fills...
