Awful customer service by the short hair staff member at the register. I stood there patiently waiting while another customer was being helped. After she was finished, i was told to continue to wait and then told to wait again. Lady was moving like a snail and my food was sitting on the counter from before I even walked in. Thankfully a more intelligent employee was able to read the receipt and exchange the food so I could be on my way.

I ordered the Runaway bay and Port Antonio as a take out order. To start the fish was very small and had more sauce than fish. I also ordered the runaway Bay which is cooked down in coconut milk, tasted a little bland and could have used more season. Overall...it was ok. Not bad, but not great.

To summarize, I experienced everything everyone have said. Yes the food was OK but the service was HORRIBLE. We arrived at 7:30 and got our food at 9:20 (after complaining).There was only 2 ladies running around taking orders, cleaning tables and also taking phone pick-up order Clearly they are under-staffed (like most business) and I totally understand but based on others reviews, this is just how they usually operate.Yes, we also had to ask for water, which normally most restaurant bring you water as soon as you are seated To add insult, a table of 6 arrived long after our table (and others) and the owner son came out to greet them He personally bought them drinks and within half an hour they got there food.Several of us spoke with him and complained about the lack of service. His response was that he wasn’t suppose to even be at work and we should complain to his Dad (the chef) which no one sawYes they had a service charge (Tip) which I don’t mind and added additional tip cause I felt bad for the young lady serving usNeedless to say we (and 3 other tables) will not be going back for bad service

DO NOT STEP FOOT IN N THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!My husband , daughter and myself waited 45 mins before we left. Not one person came over to greet us or ask if we wanted a drink. There was only one other party of 2 in the actual restaurant and it was around 6:15 today, so its not like they were busy! We got up and left and went to Fins and things on university and oakland (near hooters)which gave us immaculate customer service, very attentive, and steam fish with bammy and rice and peas was 10/10. Escoveitch snapper fish with festival 10/10. Cocktails 10/10. Service with a smile 10/10. Lobster has lacks basic customer service skills. Typical Jamaican restaurant that thinks you are begging them to patronize them. Do yourself a favor and head over to Fins and things. So glad They got my business, never again will I step foot in lobster house or recommend to anyone.! Disgusting customer service!So typical of them to respond “ dont come back” nobody coming back to your stinking renk restaurant anyway. ???, You will lose alot of business treating people this way. The lunch was good but not great. The Lobster roll was small , but tasty for lunch. I'm sure some of the other items would be amazing. Went with some clients. The waitress Laurel was fantastic very friendly and helpful. Excellent service. Just a little disappointed with my meal. Maybe if back I would try again. Very expensive for the lunch sample. It looked like catch of day was better.

This has to be the worst restaurant I have ever visited! Horrible service, tasteless food and outrageously expensive prices! The menu said lobster but what they served us was crow fish as small as a shrimp. The shrimp in coconut curry tasted like water, I had never eaten a dish that tasted like water! I can’t even talk about the spicy Alfredo sauce!But that was not all, we had to wait for our food more than 50 mins, and if that wasn’t enough, the waitress did not put a to -go order of a salmon we ordered. She only tell us by the time we were about to leave, that they did not have more salmon with a “I don’t care attitude” To top it all off, they added the tip for the horrible service, ugly food and unreasonably high prices. I will never come back to this place!

Lobster was over cooked and the service is beyond terrible. The service is slow like molasses. You will finish eating before you get a drink and when they bring the drink it will be at the end of the table not given or placed before the customer. No complimentary water. Anything you order has to be caught because that’s how long it takes! I always try to support black owned businesses but we do such a terrible job it’s hard to support! Get it together people because this place has potential but you will loose customers and money if you keep running the place like no one is running the place!!!

The inside ambiance was on point and relaxing. Seating met the CDC guidelines. The host was very professional and proficient with her service. The foot (fish/rice/ non-alcohol drink was delicious and quenching. Definitely a return for me!

The fish is not seasoned, is oily, and expired. The pasta is delicious. BUT THE WAIT IS RIDICULOUS. I waited for over an hour and a half for just a pasta and a lobster burger. I also called in 30 minutes prior to me walking in. As stood there i saw a few door dash drivers have to cancel their order after waiting for 3p mins and have another driver pick it upWhen the other deiver arrived it wa another 20 minute wait. Two customers complained that they never recieved their food and have been waiting for over 15 minutes for soup.

The food was delicious. We had the fried lobster, lobster soup and fish with shrimp scampi. Only suggestion is to look at your bill, they do add a 21% service charge and if you are paying with a card there is an 8% charge. Other than that, the food is well worth the wait.

Ok, hands down Im nit gonna bash everything because thats just not the case. The food was good...however I did not like that I had to pay a fee to use my card. I shouldnt be covering the merchant fee at all and doing so could have been reported to the Florida department of agriculture as an unfair practice (if we So chose to be petty).... Service was very,very slow...and our waitress only came by once to ask was everything ok which was in poor taste being that a service fee is also mandated and added to the bill in lieu of a manually decided tip. Im still thirsty all now. (Beg unu likkle more wata please??))) One of the dishes was brown stew lobster which was $34 and we were charged an additional $5 because of market rate.???? Market rate??? No sah..... So basically $39 for a very tiny lobster?? And a just the tail part alone me get??? No mam....Alright...its covid and all.....but really?? C'mon man. Thats why sometimes its hard to support certain businesses. Being that its my money and I work hard for it I should be happy about a place I spend at all across the board. You know how much grocery I could have buy?? Lobster and fish and shrimp included for the total sum of dinner... YES, I chose this place and yes, the food was good for the most part but YES I was also disappointed on some things here. Unu can do better man...geezam piece....

You need to be very careful when using your credit or debit card. The waitress will add in an extra tip for herself (Raina). She did this to me and didn't give me a copy of my receipt. Its only when I checked my account and saw she gave herself a $10. She had a nasty attitude and gave unpleasant service. Be careful! Use cash if possible. I did get my money back! I work too hard for it and she is a total waste for stealing people hard earned money!!! Management is fully aware of what's going on, when you bring it to their attention, they will simply take the blame and say it was their mistake! Disgusting and dangerous business practice.

Well hears to a constructive review...well familiar with the establishment since they opened. The chef and food is outstanding! Pricing is okay but could be lower, but it's a small business selling seafoodwhich can be pricey. I get it. BUT here is my major issue: on 2 recent occasions I was billed 18% tip to my bill...max amt. The customer must determine how much they wish to tip based on the amount of the bill and the amount of attention given to ensure my meal is satisfactory. The server bring out the food and the check. No how is everything, is there anything I can get you? A tip is a must, I insist, but money is rendered accordingly. Plus only 4 customers was in the place, including me. Then now, the genial stunt: 2 menus same exact dishes but one with price, 1 with only mrkt price labeled. Everything is priced @ mrkt price.. foolishness. There pricing with this kind of hustling is like the fluctuating of the stock market. Now the wait...its inevitable...proper food takes time in preparation but they fail to offset by offering bread or salad . They charging good money on the entrees, anyway. To the owner, sort out the front end of the business, management, customer relation sucks. You all can try it, if you feel like blowing up some money but if respect your money spend it where it's worth it.. not here!
