They never get my food right. Spent $30 ordering from them through uber eats they sent the food in plastic bags. Very, very bad packaging. They sent a bunch of chicken, no sauce even though I asked for it.
I ordered online and arrived to pick up my food. It took a few minutes before anyone addressed me although the lobby was empty. Someone finally came to the counter and I informed them that I ordered and paid online. One of the staff members laughed saying “I didn’t even know an order came in”. The same staff member rudely said “why do people order so close to closing” and “I’m trying to get out of here.” Needless to say, my order wasn’t ready and was not fulfilled. They claimed to be out of yellow rice and other items needed to fulfill my order. When I asked for a refund I was told to request it through the app. I downloaded the app, created an account and asked where to go to cancel the order and request a refund and was then told “I don’t know”. It’s very inconvenient that a refund can not be processed at the restaurant. I left with No Food nor was my money refunded! I called customer support and after multiple attempts finally spoke with someone who offered to give me credit to the restaurant which I insisted I’d like a full refund and not a credit as I’d likely not return to any Pollo Tropical again. I’m currently awaiting my refund. In summary my visit was horrible! I don’t recommend visiting this location, maybe another store has better customer service. I will never return to this location if any and will never order online again with this company.
