Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Ordered 2 take outs meals. Farm raised cat fish. Upon coming home to eat, biscuits were burnt and hard. Hush puppies burnt. Steak fries not fresh. Fish was not fresh. As a take out the whole meal was as if had been sitting out for awhile. The only good parts were the veggies. Needless to say not happy at all. What happened to the Cracker Barrel I thought I once knew?

Old fashioned country cooking, and always pleasant service. We agreed this morning that this particular batch of pancakes was the best we have ever tasted. The edges were crispy. The middles were lofty. And they were redolent with the scent of warm vanilla. Little glass bottles of maple syrup alongside. Breakfast heaven!

Harmony is the perfect name for the server that I had at the Leesburg, FL. location. The food was good but it was her kind service, warm smile, and attention to detail, in such a balanced way, that made for an overall great experience. Thank you!

I have been a huge fan of Cracker Barrel for over 60 years and have not had a bad meal in all those years. Until now. This past Saturday I got a bowl of Campfire soup to take home. By the sound of it's name, I expected a hearty bowl of yum. At home I opened 2 small bowls and saw mostly broth with a few pieces of carrot and potatoe with 4 small pieces of beef. Not at all what I had envisioned. Not what the Barrel usually serves. I am still a fan of the restaurant, just not the soup.

Server was absolutely lovely’ food has gone downhill drastically. The hash brown casserole wasn’t cooked all the way which I was then able to tell it was instant hash browns. It did not taste very appetizing. anyway, I love their shop, except being accosted by the ladies and their baskets. Please let me shop in peace.
