This is the best sub shop ever! It is very different from the chains. First, it is family run. You see the same smiling faces every visit. Second, the subs are unusual. Try the Monte Cristi Sub. The seafood platter is really good too. Third, if you don’t carry out, you can have seating in the back at the bar. A sub and a beer? Sure! We use any excuse to stop by here to watch the Game Show Channel!

So this place sucks. So the price on the menu is not the price you pay. So I asked the waitress why this is not correct on my bill? She only can tell me that the menu updates every 6 months. The owner was walking by and she said you could speak to the owner and he did not even stop to check and see what my issue was. This is bullshit. So be aware the price on the menu is not the price you pay

Very sweet people working here, very kind, and patient. Great food. If you are reading this, I learned a lesson. Do NOT order via grubhub ever. What a mess they made for myself as the customer and for the workers at this restaurant. Order doordash or call and pickup. I hope grubhub did the right thing and made sure this restaurant got paid!
The Food was great,the sub rolls were the freshest and, service was excellent also. The prices are competitive. No complaints

Sandwhich was not done right, second sandwhich that was ordered was supposed to be 12" and we got a hamburger bun. This was after the cashier asked us 8 in or 12 in. I've heard good things about this location so maybe today was not a good day. But I ordered a tuna sub and asked for lettuce tomato and mayo. I got a dry tuna sub with white cheese sticking out of the sub.

Update: A credit was given for the hot sauce, although there was no explanation or apology, so we changed the review to 4 star..
We picked up two subs on August 2. They were really good sandwiches. My husband thought the bill was a bit high but forgot about it. He even gave a $5.34 tip, so by the time all was said and done, two sandwiches and two bags of chips with tax and tip was $33.89. Today, while looking for some paperwork in the car, we looked at the receipt from Lilly's Subs and was surprised to see a $4.95 bottle of hot sauce on the receipt. The last thing we would buy from a sub shop is a bottle of overpriced hot sauce. My advice is CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS. This is our first and last trip to Lilly's. We can't afford to be throwing money around like that.

They have MY BEER ON TAP!!! michelob amberbock and it was so cold and so fresh and so reasonable!
Today I took my truck to Haines Creek and said I would be having lunch at Lilly’s and had the burger, tater skins and Cajun fries and WOW!! Now, I need to try some subs, as the food was absolutely phenomenal!

I stopped at Lillys subs for the first time today and their customer service was terrible. I was not acknowledged when coming in and when picking my sub up to leave I said “Thank you”and not one of them said anything to me as I left. Is it that difficult to show appreciation for the customers who pay your salary.

First I wanna say I really love this place up until today I had the worst experience ordering through the phone. I'm assuming it was the owner that answered the phone he was the only guy working in there(fat guy). I call im ordering my food which was alot(4 subs and 3 sides) but my biggest pet peeve is when I go anywhere and im ordering something and someone continuesly ask "is that it" after every time I order something or in the middle of me ordering this Dirt bag has the audacity to ask well how much more do you plan on ordering like when I'm done ordering I promise you I will let you know. I hope the dirt bag sees this review ive been coming there since I was a kid and I haven't seen him in there before but he's not doing any service to his business being there if anything he is making it worse, stay at your house big boy. I'm already mad so I get home and he done messed up the whole ordering im assuming he didn't want to write it down and tried going off of memory. Never ever had a problem with this place in all 26 yrs I've lived in Lake County never have had this experience nor did I think I ever would.
