Excellent food. Bilingual owner, Sylvia, was great explaining the menu to us and offering suggestions when asked. She was working alone, but we were in no hurry. Enjoyed the Latin music. She told us how to buy and fix plantains at home. Genuine cuban food. Will definitely go back in the future when we are here. We are from Illinois.
We totally loved Melody’s and were sad they sold. We were there a few days a week for Cafe Con Leche.
I tried them at Andy’s. Awful. Owner and I talked. She could make it but the other girls cannot seem to make good ones (IMHO).
I’ve stopped by several times to ask about dinner menu. Went in today and NO ONE WORKING spoke English. The menu she handed me was a lunch/sandwich menu. I could not get a dinner menu to see if we wanted to go to dinner there tonight.
