I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and food quality I received from China Star after placing a $65 delivery order. The rice was brown and tasted as if it had been refried, the chicken lo mein was slimy and appeared spoiled, and the shrimp with broccoli in brown sauce had a foul, unpleasant odor. This is completely unacceptable.
For comparison, I ordered the same dishes from Canton House, and the difference was night and day—the food there was fresh and flavorful, nothing like what I received from China Star. It’s outrageous that a restaurant would serve food of this poor quality to the community.
To make matters worse, when I voiced my concerns, the woman I spoke with dismissed me and told me not to order from them again. That kind of response shows a complete lack of care for customers’ health and safety.
Lehigh community, please be cautious—if you don’t want to risk spoiled food and poor service, I strongly recommend avoiding China Star.

The chicken was old and hard as rocks the lo mein was sticky and just gross. I don’t know what happened to this restaurant but this will be the last time I waste a dollar here. 49 bucks down the drain. We had to throw it all out. Just yuck!!!

Had an inconvenient experience with this place, been ordering food from them for a few months now, on Saturday night 9-6-25 we ordered food always to be delivered i ordered $75.00 worth of food well when i received the food i noticed that they didn't put all the items that come in a pupu platter i only got beef on sticks and chicken wings they were missing 2 egg rolls 2 crab rangoon and 2 fried shrimp so i call the place and tell the lady that im missing items that come in the pupu platter and she tells me that cant be because they put everything in the box in the white paper bags i proceed to tell her that the item are not there, i asked her if the driver can come back and deliver the food and she says no because its almost closing time so i asked her what are we going to do? she tells me that she will give me store credit for next time i order so i said no because i dont order food that often and next time i order would be like in 2 months by then they will have forgotten! so she tells me well i cant do anything until the driver gets back to the store and then i will give $5 credit so i said no i want the food that a payed for, she said she would call me back and never did... so i call the following day and she tells me that i agreed for her to give me $5 credit so she did that (i check account there was no credit) so i told her that i never agreed for a $5 credit thats no where close to how much the food is worth... so after so much back and forth she told me that she would make the food and for me to go pick it up...i did go get it but my question to her was why should i go get it myself if the original order was for delivery! Which i payed delivery fee and tipped the driver!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!

I ordered from this restaurant, delivery. When delivery person arrived with a cocky attitude, which I tipped 4 dollars cash., so I opened the plastic bag that the food containers and condiments were covered in a wet sauce , not sure if spillage from sauce pertaining to dish? I called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager to let them know I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble, but to be more careful. I spoke to someone that didn’t speak English and sounded like a practiced I’m sorry… and hung up on me??? I will not order from this establishment again. I failed to read all the one stars reviews.
