I just placed an order via Uber for this restaurant. Waited on the food and the Uber driver arrived. Not even 10 minutes later the Uber driver is at my front door asking for the food back stating that it’s not my order but someone else’s food. She advised that the restaurant canceled my order. Well, I was charged $30.34, plus gave a $5.00 tip to the driver.Call the restaurant and the young lady advised that she called my phone numerous of times and I didn’t answer. That was a lie because I was sitting patiently with phone in hand and the phone didn’t ring once.I have requested a full refund, took my tip back, and disputed the charge with the bank.First and foremost who delivers someone else’s food to the wrong person and then asks for the food back. After someone else has breathed on the food and handled it, that food stays there.Lastly, Ms. I called you, stop lying, you didn’t call me. You canceled the order and left it like that. You all will NEVER get one dime from me again because of this, especially when I was hungry as heck and needed to eat.

I can only say that it is the best Puerto Rican restaurant in the area. The flavor is super Creole and it's like being in Puerto Rico on a good night, it definitely transports me to my beautiful home in PR.. Coconut flan is the best dessert ?

Went for my wedding anniversary dinner in. Friday evening with my husband. Sat for 20 minutes and no one came to us. I had to ask hostess for a server. When server came did not have the best attitude and then when I told him what I wanted to eat they did not have and then he asked if there was anything else I would like I told him and he said they did not have it either. So we got up and left. We were very disappointed.

We went to have dinner with the family and was disappointed. The food was good but our Server Patricia was extremely rude. The monfongo had bones in it. She had an attitude the ENTIRE time and was extremely impatient because only one of us spoke Spanish. She didn’t checked on us and didn’t bring out napkins until we were basically done eating. She basically threw the receipts at one of us and then tried to charge us a tip for 6+ when there was only 5 of us. When we asked her to correct it, she then argued with us and said the computer automatically adds it. Another lady came out to help us, she easily took it off. As we were walking out our server got loud and was yelling talking disrespectfully about us to the other waiter.

Went this evening for a nice dinner with my family of 5 when we arrived we were greeted by a lady named Patricia with a terrible attitude who just went to sit us. I am the only spanish speaker in the family and while trying to order she had an attitude and wanted to argue with me over my choices in food. She was very inpatient and rude. As our food comes around we have another young lady bring us our food as well as our drinks. After we received our food and we’re almost done was when she came to check on us. The food was good, I had a couple pieces of bone in my mofongo which i found weird but the service was terrible from the start so I left it alone. No need to ask to remake if it wasn’t a pleasant experience to begin with. The waitress Patricia brought us napkins at the END of our meal. She asked us if we were ready for the bill when she brought the napkins out and we said yes & told her it would be split in 2 ways. She automatically gave an attitude and while still speaking to her she walked away talking under her breath and went inside to speak to the bartender. While speaking with the bartender she was making faces and pointing. She brought out the check and while reviewing the check she had charged us as a large party of 6+ as well as split the bill wrong.Again with the way she was treating us and the poor service we were okay with the way the bill was going to be split it was no longer the problem we didn’t want to be there any longer, but the fact she wanted to tip herself on our bill was wrong. I brought this to her attention as we were only a party of 5 and we had cash to leave for tip. She wanted to tell me that the computer automatically added the tip because it was close to 6 people. I told her that wasn’t correct and she wanted to argue with me & mimic us. She stormed inside and then came back out and threw the receipt at our table. In disbelief we went inside to get this sorted out. When we went to go pay she had an attitude and was very nasty. I explained we were only a party of 5 and the service wasn’t great she never checked on us. Then we had another lady the bartender she spoke english & she came to help us out she took the 6+ tip off and we went on our way. As we are walking out they follow right behind and start saying disrespectful stuff and making fun of the family. We left no tip as we were disrespected and made fools of. The attitude and the service was awful would never recommend. I understand it’s a hispanic restaurant but to not be understanding that everyone didn’t speak spanish is disrespectful. Goes both ways. She didn’t speak any english and we were patient with her. She gave dirty looks to the kids and was terrible. If you don’t like your job quit and find a new one, but disrespecting people and giving attitude isn’t our issue.

Delicious authentic puertorican food in this hidden gem! I had chicharon de pollo with rice and beans and my daughter had arroz con gandules and pernil with tostones. Both plates include a small tomato and lettuce salad. Food was really delicious lots of flavor. Very happy to have found this place. One thing to note, they are not open Mondays & Sundays. I discovered this when I was craving their food on a Sunday and though the website said open untilb8om, when hubby and I got there a note on the door said closed Monday and Sunday. Go when they are open you will not be disappointed. Sorry no pic's this is what happens when the food is fire!!!

Title: A Taste of Authentic Puerto Rican Delights at El Rincón Boricua RestaurantRating: ★★★★★ (5/5)Review:El Rincón Boricua is a hidden gem that brings the vibrant flavors of Puerto Rico to life right in the heart of Lehigh acres From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was captivated by its warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of the colorful streets of Old San Juan. The menu at El Rincón Boricua is a culinary journey through the rich and diverse Puerto Rican cuisine. Each dish is prepared with love and passion, showcasing the authentic flavors and traditional techniques that make Puerto Rican food so special. Whether you're a fan of mofongo, arroz con gandules, or lechón asado, this restaurant has got you covered.During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their signature dish, chicharrón de pollo arroz habichuelas y tostones . The plantains were perfectly fried to a golden crispness, and the garlic-infused were bursting with flavor that added a delightful twist to the dish. It was a true taste of Puerto Rican bliss. The service, you get that authentic Puerto Rican attitude these girls could care less if they attend you good or not ? but at El Rincón Boricua was exceptional. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was taken care of. They were more than happy to recommend dishes, explain the ingredients, and share stories about the origins of each recipe. It was evident that they were passionate about their culture and genuinely wanted us to have an unforgettable dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with lively music playing softly in the background. The decor was tastefully done, featuring Puerto Rican artwork and elements that added to the overall cultural experience. It felt like a little piece of Puerto Rico right in our neighborhood. In terms of value, El Rincón Boricua offers generous portion sizes that are reasonably priced. Considering the quality of the food, the attention to detail, and the overall dining experience, I found it to be an excellent value for the money.Overall, El Rincón Boricua is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in the authentic flavors of Puerto Rico. The dedication to preserving the culinary traditions and warm hospitality make this restaurant stand out from the rest. Whether you're a Puerto Rican food enthusiast or someone looking to explore new cuisines, El Rincón Boricua will leave you craving more. I can't wait to visit again and try more of their delightful dishes.

Not horrible food. Needed more seasoning and more of authentic Puerto Rican seasoning. They don't make their own alcapurrias nor pastelillos. I know this because one of the owners took our order and said, "they haven't made those (alcapurrias) in almost two years"..."we're out, our shipment comes in around Tuesday (pastelillos)". Menu should be updated as well as pictures on website. We won't be back.In response to owner's response:It seems I was then misinformed by your employee. Employees should be updated on current menu items no longer available. I come from Puerto Rican women who cooked frituras and authentic comida criolla/boricua for a living in Puerto Rico and parents who owned a catering in Puerto Rico and myself having lived in Puerto Rico for over eight years and traveled the island, eaten at many local restaurants and was an employee in food and beverage departments throughout El Conquistador resort ,I believe I know food and service. I went to try your food because several acquaintances really like it. I stand by my review and appreciate your time.
