Overall, solid neighborhood sushi spot. We've tried a few dishes here for dine in and takeout and we're always happy. However, the Daniels Preserve roll is EXCELLENT. It's a cooked roll, and only for those who like complex rolls with a lot of flavors and textures (if you are a purist and like simple nigiri, this isn't for you). It's really delicious and I order it every time.

Marikami used to be awesome when they first opened. We frequented them at least once a week. While the food is still good, the customer service has worsened significantly and they are extremely overpriced. Although I can deal with the snarky service, we unfortunately consistently take our business elsewhere as to not be taken for a complete ride at Marikami. I'm willing to pay high prices when the quality warrants it, but that's just not the case here. How are you going to charge for sauce (despite the already over-priced and poorly rolled sushi) and not even fill the containers all the way? And if their excuse for high prices is high quality ingredients, let's not forget when the health department shut them down a couple years ago. We used to love this place, but it's just such a rip-off. Sad.Edit: please see below for the owner's reply to this review for a first-hand example of their snarky service. It's a classic chicken & egg scenario. Perhaps that explains our neglect to tip.Also-- my apologies! What they got shut down for was selling alcohol to minors. I knew I remembered seeing the notice on their shut doors. Apparently, it was for a slightly different offense.

Food was so good! We choose the Keto friendly Thai beef Laab and a chicken Laab Salad with #2 heat. It was just the right amount of heat for us. We also started out with a spicy tuna roll but didn't eat the rice. Next time I'll order just the spicy tuna, it was so flavourful.
I have tried many different places for sushi. This restaurant is amazing. I love their food. The quality is top notch. The best of the best. You feel very welcome when you walk in.

Can I give this place 6 stars for the food? OMG this is authentic and they changed their menu to include lobster and filet. I hesitate to say how seriously good this place is cuz honestly I like that it is still a hidden gem.

Went at lunch time and it was hands down wonderful. Ginger dressing is to die for! I had the 3 roll sushi lunch special (Spicy tuna, Spicy salmon, and The Crazy roll). All 3 were exceptional. I will most definitely be back. The gentleman working answered the few questions I had and was very professional. I didn't catch his name, but was a very pleasant experience.

So happy this restaurant opened near me. Family run and the food is as authentic as you can get around here. Their tom ka gai soup and panang curry are perfect. Was there last night and they expanded their menu; want lobster and filet Asian style? They have it, plus their sushi rolls are awesome. Make sure to check out the wipe board near the sushi bar. I-75 roll is my favorite!
