Arrived at 8pm on Friday for our reservation. Stepped into the bar and were immediately and rudely told to go to the restaurant, the bar was closed. The bar smelled bad anyway, so I guess that was fine. At the table we were given literature to read up on the “history” of the location and a long list of dead celebrities who had visited in the past.
We were told no one else the quality of “hearts of palm” salad that they do. It was ordered $20 and had no real taste....

So interesting. You could only get there by their boat accommodation which was an adventure in itself. The Captain was entertaining, the ride was pleasant & picturesque. Our first stop was the bar. It was so antiquated. The entrance doors reminded me of the doors on a phone booth...tight! Then we entered the restaurant which was exactly as described. The food was perfect! Service was excellent. The prices are comparable with the amazing atmosphere. Well worth it for a special...

Caps Place is a hidden gem! From the boat ride to the old-Florida charm, everything was memorable. The seafood was fresh and delicious, and the servers were attentive and kind. A big thank you to Joe and the Evers family for their warm hospitality that made the evening truly special.
