Frosty Point Ice Cream Parlor

$6 for the smallest cup they had and one scoop of ice cream. It's very pricey. Same ice cream as before it seems but twice as much money now with new owners. They should really better understand that this place is not just a business or money-making venture...it's a neighborhood ice cream shop that families around here have been going to for many years. My children grew up coming here. It's not the same now and I don't think it will last long at these prices nor without the family-oriented small neighborhood feel anymore. 😔 Sad.

We’ve been loyal customers for 6 years, but since the new ownership, this place has really gone downhill, unfortunately. Prices are higher, portions are smaller, and the ice cream is often soft and melting before it even gets served. We miss the amazing quality and service this shop used to have (especially when Darlene was here!!!). Sad to see such a great spot lose what made it special.

It was so nice to go to a mom and pop local cream parlor as opposed to the Dairy Queen or Carvel franchise. The ice cream was fresh, the place was clean, and the staff was great. Jessica in particular. She greeted us when we got there and offered us samples. So of course, for my small children this was heaven. Our icecream was served neat and with a smile. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend it. 🍨

So so sad!!! The shop has been sold to new owners and I can tell you it is not the same!!! The aura walking in is negative now!!! They changed all the regular scoopers to extra small ones so now you get less ice scream! I’m not lying the new scoop is the size of a small soup spoon. Toppings don’t bother asking because you will get very minimal! For how much the ice cream cost it’s not worth it! The new girl who took care of me seems to come from the hood of Hialeah! Very negative attitude!! This was one of my favorite ice cream location to go to and now I will never come again! There were customers outside complaining about the same thing I was!!!! The locals are not happy the shop was sold to such negative owners! The original owners made it so welcoming and regardless how expensive the ice cream was we had no problem paying to support our local business owners! I’m so disappointed and sad. I’m wishing the old owners blessings in their new journey and they should know that they will be missed!!!!!

I’ve been coming to this ice cream shop for years since my daughter was a baby and we drive all the way from Coral Springs because we’ve always loved it. But the last two visits have been really disappointing. The ice cream was melting, it was hot inside, and today I decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, the portion was extremely small, and the prices have gone up.

What is going on with this place? I’m so disappointed. I really hope things improve because this used to be one of our favorite spots.

I have been coming to Frosty Point for over six years and leaving this review brings me no joy but i unfortunately feel that i need to do it. It seems that both myself and my brother have gotten food poisoning from eating here. The reasons that we believe we got sick from the food here specifically are that this is the only place that both of us ate that day and the ice-cream had a odd texture and taste compared to what we were used to getting here.
In addition to this the store was extremely hot especially compared to outside. It was so hot that the girl behind the counter seemed to be sweating through her shirt. I noticed that the scoopers used to scoop our ice-cream clearly had bits of other ice-cream still stuck to them when she brought them out of the wells they have behind the counter. There were also some minor issues like the music being blaring and the large price increase and the credit card fee but those are again minor issues that i wouldn't even leave a review for.
