Nice man, average mom and pop deli. Food is very average to below average. Nothing special about it. Top came off of dressing in the bag making a mess. It was takeout. It was expensive for what we received.

Big Moe here….. My God!!!!! This is the hidden gem you dream about! The place is clean, customer service is excellent! I got the steak and cheese with the cooper sharp… OMG! This is the best cheesesteak that you will find anywhere in the Tampa Bay Area!!! Give them a try. I’m coming back!!!!!

Warning- Danny’s Deli is addictive. Love the cuban, this sandwich alone brings me back weekly. Then i tried the italian, and i alternated sandwiches each week. Then I made up my own sandwich which was my favorite. Any of these, along with the sides, are a reason to come back again and again. They i tried the philly samdwich with the cherry pepper sauce. Blew my favorite sandwiches out of the water. Didnt think Danny’s could get better. I was wrong. And now i am even more addicted. The owners and their team are great people, if their football team choice is a bit off. My favorite place in Fishhawk and the best place to get a sandwich anywhere.

Amazing staff and a even better sandwich. Was instantly greeted and made feel welcome as soon as I came in the door. I will definitely come back to this hidden gem. I got the Philly and the baked potato salad and I give it a 10/10 for both.
First time visiting this spot as it was recommended by a co-worker of mine. I asked her, “where has the best Cubans?” And she pointed me here. Made it after work, thankfully, traffic is crazy in the afternoon hours to get there but it’s worth the drive. Atmosphere is was welcoming as they knew me already since I called ahead and made me feel like I had been there many times. Anyways, I got the Cuban to go. Amy asked me if I we gonna need napkins or will eat it at home…it smelled so good, I’m so young this uk after pulling over and eating it before even making it 5min out their parking lot :) That should say how amazing it was tasted! Definitely would recommend and visit again to try their other menu options! Good job at people and delicious food!

I stopped by Danny's Deli last Friday to pick up two cheesesteaks for my wife and me, and it was the best cheesesteak I’ve had since moving to the area in 2021. The cheesesteaks had the perfect ratio of cheese to meat, were seasoned perfectly (even though I got mine without onions), and felt like a great value for the price. Everyone there was super nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely be going back, and I highly recommend you try this place if you love amazing cheesesteaks!

On a whim we tried out Danny’s and we’re glad we did. A little drive from north Valrico but well worth it. Sandwiches are piled high, the homemade soups and potato salad are all delicious. Not to mention the friendly staff, a great couple of guys. Two huge sandwiches, a bowl of broccoli soup, a bowl of potato salad (thank god it wasn’t sweet!) two drinks and a very nice tip, we spent $41. We will tell our friends and we will be back.

Came out to Fish hawk For my mom’s knee replacement and needed a break and a sandwich. I’m so glad that I found Danny’s deli. I think that was the best pasta fagioli I’ve ever had. Wish I lived closer so I could try everything on the menu.

Danny’s Deli has quickly become one of my favorite local spots, and every visit reminds me why. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The portions are massive, so you always leave satisfied.
The owners are truly the heart of this place. They’re always friendly, welcoming, and incredibly hard‑working. Whether it’s remembering regulars, offering suggestions, or just greeting you with a smile, they create the kind of warm, neighborhood atmosphere that’s getting harder to find these days.
If you’re in Riverview or passing through, Danny’s Deli is absolutely worth the stop. I recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich with extra pickles. Overall, great people, generous portions, and delicious food every single time!
