Had a Cuban sandwich and it was not an authentic Cuban. The bread would rip your teeth out, a tough chew and it was not pressed. An authentic Miami-style Cuban sandwich features Cuban bread, slow-roasted pork often marinated in mojo, sweet ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and yellow mustard, all pressed and toasted. No mayo and no salami ever. I found a sliver of pork, but it was not mojo pork. The best are made Miami style.

First ever visit to this store on 3/15/25. What a great first impression. I arrived about 1/2 hour before closing on a Saturday (they close @ 3:00pm) and the place was packed. Outside, the picnic tables were full of patrons eating food prepared by the food truck parked outside of the main store. Inside the store, customers were being helped by a man who couldn't be more accommodating to their wishes. The couple in line in front of me ended up purchasing enough meat to feed a large family. The man who served me was the same: friendly and accommodating. What would you like? How thick do you want that cut? So refreshing to see customer service is alive and well in Rick's Custom Meats. The woman at the cash register when I checked out was also very friendly and accommodating. Now, the product. I opted for a bone-in ribeye steak. It was a fine piece of meat, cut to my specification. I cooked it up yesterday evening and the result was delicious. I am pleased to have found Rick's Custom Meats, and although it is a bit of a drive for me (45+ minutes), I will definitely return. Great product, great service, great people, great experience.

Such a wonderful experience. I called and spoke to Traci and placed an order for a Christmas gift. She was so helpful suggesting their most popular items. It was so nice to buy locally and not an online meat store. My friends LOVED it!! Definitely worth the drive. Hometown vibe, 💯 recommended!!

Rick's is the only place to get your meat! Great prices and great atmosphere. Need a special cut, they will do it for you on the spot!!! The Applewood smoked bacon is the best!!! Stop by next door to Smokin Joe's for a BBQ lunch!
