Sakura Sushi and Grill Restaurant

I was only passing through for the night so first and only try, but I would definitely try other stuff here if I lived closer! I got some sushi and shumai and was pleasantly surprised that the sushi was really good. This kind of food is usually hit or miss depending where you are, glad this place was a hit. Thanks guys!

Clean and nice atmosphere, had a craving for some cooked sushi and they did not disappoint. Only thing if you want it fried they will charge you additional 2-3$ . I thought it was included but ok. Crab Rangoon was a little too sweet for my taste. I prefer real crab meat inside my Rangoon, this didn’t have any meat. But overall great place try if you are in the area.

Sakuras has been our go to for sushi and hibachi since 2014. Unfortunately that has changed. I believe it has changed owners due to a renovation and the sushi portions have definitely become smaller and not fresh at all. We came in a couple months back ,ordered a sushi boat for two as we always have before. There were a couple pieces I had to immediately remove from my mouth due to bad taste. Later that evening it became obvious the fish wasn't fresh. Then tonight 11/15/2025 we decided to try again. I ordered the sushi/ sashimi combo, my wife got the Hawaiian roll and coconut shrimp roll. Unfortunately within 2 hours of arriving home, once again it became obvious ,not good. We can no longer recommend this resteraunt to any friends or the general public. We will no longer patronize this establishment. Please beware.

I’m sure this is a nice restaurant. It’s just not my style.

Oh my goodness!! The food was absolutely incredible!!! It’s my first time and my hubby and I loved everything we had. I had this whole raving, detailed review I swear… then I accidentally deleted it which sucks but out of our order I’d HIGHLY recommend the krab rangoons, the futomaki roll, and the sweet heart roll. Oh ANDDDDDD the Miso soup.
10/10- I’ll be back many times!!!

Slimy sauce all over meal (cornstarch?) In poor attempt to hide it was spoiled. Showed waitress and manager. Their answer: even tho you said light sauce you didnt say light sauce on the vegetables so too bad. Diarrhea all night and I barely ate 1/3 of it. If youre ok with death by shrimp and slime go for it.

Food was delicious.
Started with fried pork dumplings and they were great. My mom and wife both had chicken hibachi. Plentiful portions and food cooked perfectly.
I got the Christmas roll and the standard California roll. Both were delicious.
Plenty of food and service was great. Our server kept checking on us throughout our meal. This is my second time here and definitely will be back.

We were agreably surprised by this restaurant. The sushis were fresh and delicious. Service was courteous and helpful in suggesting items on the menu. The only annoying thing was a bit of noise coming from a game machine in the front since we were sitting close. We will definitely return.
