Every time we ordered the family meal they give you little rice and no beans just liquid. Never again. Rip off!!!!

Great food, terrible service — ignored, attitude, and 30 minutes for an order that was never placed

We were the only customers at El Pollon, yet the staff blasted party-level music with a soccer game on TV layered over it. When I asked for the volume to be lowered, the four staff members ignored me until I insisted—then they did it with attitude.

On top of that, my order wasn’t placed correctly and no one checked in for 30 minutes. The food was good, but the service was awful. A restaurant can’t survive without treating customers with basic respect.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from this place and the last time, they gave me seafood rice (shrimp full of blood), dry lomo saltado with no flavor or color, and overcooked and poorly packaged ceviche. I don’t recommend it to anyone. You could end up in the hospital due to the negligence of the kitchen staff. They should take this place to the health department.

Love Peruvian food. The staff are friendly and hooray to the chef. Well recommended. Everytime that come here the food continues as same taste, flavor and delicious. Lucuma yumm!! Boricua with a Peruvian heart.

We came to buy pulpo parillero and we were so hungry, it was take out, and when we opened the box we were in shock, we didn’t expect that squid that cost $22 would be so small, just check the pictures, that not even enough for one person. We have visited so many latino restaurant and always got plenty of food and cheaper, but we were disappointed with “pollon”. Also french fries were not salted at all but the pulpo was very salty, like the cook forgot where he put salt I don’t know. Twice we visited pollon and this was last time!
