I hope I’m wrong, but I think this F&D location might be permanently closed. I drove by two days ago, and whatever refurbishment is going on, there appears to be a new “Uno Mas” sign over the building.

Was craving this last week. First time was excellent, second pretty close. Comments on 3rd disappointment below.First two visits very enjoyable. Food and service. Small menu, more wine choices than food. You can spend $50 for a family of 4 or $150, plenty of spread in pricing. This visit was w the fam. I'm not sure if they were understaffed, but one of the guys who was coordinating behind the bar was visibly stressed and let it carry into his interactions and comments. Another guy seemed to be trying to make up for it. They were out of 2 items we wanted to order, which I'm okay w just make it clear before we sit down. They were flexible w accommodating our order instead of just 86ing one whole pizza.Pizza dough was very salty-- 3 diff pizzas, all same result. Only had pizza once before and don't remember. We'll call this a one off and if I go again and all is solid, I'll put it back to 5 stars.

Very friendly restaurant. The food was great, the menu diverse enough to satisfy everyone in our group. The location was clean, the service quick and the food delivery time was very fast.

It came highly recommended but we were very disappointed- the calamari was greasy and not crunchy and had no pepperoncini in it and the pasta dishes were not great. The Cacio de Pepe had the prosciutto all stuck together and was also too greasy. My friend had the bolognese and she did not finish it - said it was not good. The chef must have had a bad night!

Worst Italian food. I can't believe we spent $80 on bland food. Even my little boy dipped the noodles in marinara sauce. I really don't know how this place got such high ratings. The service was great though.

Having visited a year ago for brunch and relished a delightful experience, it saddens me to report a notable contrast during this visit. Despite our 11:30 am reservation and a only 5 other occupied tables, our party of six encountered consistently lukewarm food, excluding the pizzas. Our server was amiable but appeared frequently occupied in the kitchen, resulting in diminishing attention at our table. The removal of dirty dishes only occurred after the initial food round. Furthermore, the service was notably slow, and there was a lack of drink refills throughout our brunch. At one point, we had 7 Champagne flutes on our table. Mimosas were good, sangria was too sweet. We used to enjoy numerous brunch visits to F&D Kitchen before it closed, hoping that F&D Italian would be a suitable alternative to the great experiences we had there. Not the case. Maybe try again next year.

The food here is excellent! Knocking one star off because we ordered meatballs as an appetizer and it came after our entrees after we reminded our server of them. Also, it took a really long time to get beer since they were changing the keg and it seemed to be a really slow week night. Overall, I would come back for the food.

F&D Italian Kitchen has delicious food, good service, and a quaint atmosphere. The lasagna is AMAZING. We come here for a wonderful meal that tastes home cooked.

Our reservation was for 4 at 12:45, our table was ready when we arrived which was nice however it took nearly 25-30 minutes to even be greeted or get water. By the time our server came over we were hungry and thirsty so we ordered a few things to get started. That took another 15-20 minutes so the next time she came over we decided to "double order". At 10 minutes to 2 we were informed it was last call and brunch was over. We still had very full drinks and plates we were working on so we asked for to go boxes as not to waste everything that FINALLY came out at 1:45 to which we were told we couldn't get boxes and just leave whatever we couldn't finish. Now on to the food & drinks. Drinks took forever because they didn't have enough glasses which wasn't surprising since there were dirty/empty glasses at uncleaned tables and plenty of people like us sitting around waiting for food & drinks. At one point we had to ask specifically for our empty glasses and plates be taken away. Once the drinks finally came, the Sangria was way too sweet & only tasted like sugared fruit. The mimosas were in tiny glasses that were overly juiced. The food was barely cooked and lukewarm. I asked if I could just have plain champagne or juice on the side and was told no!! What am I paying for then? If it's bottomless, I should be able to order the mimosas the way I want.I felt particularly bad about the whole experience b/c it was me who convinced my friends to come here since I absolutely love the Curry Ford location. This was an absolute disaster and very unorganized brunch. I'll stick to the Curry Ford location.
