I’ve been here many times. I love the variety of beers and other beverages - alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Plus, the convenience of Papa Bee’s and Wako Taco being right next door means you can have tasty food with your drinks.
Many bars have a specific music vibe/genre. My recollection was that Hourglass had mostly an eclectic vibe, but that definitely was not the case toward the end of the night tonight (a Friday night). About an hour prior to closing, the music was back-to-back screaming - I’m not sure if it would be considered heavy metal, death metal, or what, but it was interesting to me that there wasn’t variety to the music at the end of the night. Ultimately, we chose to leave after hearing 4 songs of the genre since we weren’t enjoying it. However, I know this music would be appealing to many people so maybe it’s just the genre of this particular brewery.

First let me state upfront we ended up not staying here. Walked in thinking it was a brewery with food. There's no food. Instead there's a passway to the taco place next door. We did not want tacos. When we sat down, we guessed the WR code on the table was the menu since there doesn't seem to be any waiters or waitresses. The QR code did work and only showed drinks. We looked around and saw the taco place pass through and figured that was their way of offering food. Since no one came to our table, we left.

Doesn't seem to be a welcoming place to newcomers, just regulars.

We live in the area but, we just came to Hourglass Brewing for the first time. It turned out that it’s a pretty cool place to hang out and grab a few pints. The selection was varied and the beers were great. They don’t serve food but, you can bring it from outside, including from the restaurants next door. The staff were friendly and diligent as well.

Great beers. I always love the effort hourglass takes into providing many different styles of beer that you may not otherwise come across in Florida.

Where their other location was very chic and elegant, this location is truly hip and entertaining. Their selection was large and varied, and the service was very good. Though I really liked the other location, this one was very good.

Great "nerdy" atmosphere with a solid selection of artisan beers, the beer flights are the way. Super friendly customer service, truly a relaxing place to get a good beer.

No lie, this is hands down my favorite brewery ever! There’s always new and delicious beers on tap, the staff are the coolest people, and the brewery itself is really fun to hang out at. Love you guys!

Always have the beer we need for the boat. 100% good beer and lots of selection. Not our first, never our last.

This place turned me into a beer enjoyer lol. Very creative flavors, and a wide variety. The bartenders are all very friendly and kind. This place is fun, but never rowdy, and the artist alley is a super cool touch. This is a great place to relax, and enjoy a beer.

I visited the craft beer establishment recently and unfortunately had a negative experience with the manager, Sean. My encounter with Sean left me deeply concerned about his management style and professionalism.Firstly, Sean's past association with a notorious drug bar in the area raises serious doubts about his suitability for managing a reputable establishment. During my last visit, I witnessed Sean actively enabling disruptive behavior from a troubled married couple, including a regular patron known for involvement in selling illicit substance activities. Despite my attempts to de-escalate the situation and remove myself from the conflict, Sean failed to intervene and instead exacerbated the situation, seemingly to my detriment and let the guy go outside and continue to threaten me with violence for several minutes. I was then attacked by the wife when I stood my ground to her husband's threats from a distance, he came up to me to try to start a physical fight. The management did nothing to stop them, and it had to be settled by the police.Furthermore, my interactions with Sean at his past establishment of work revealed a troubling pattern of neglect towards customer safety. I have reason to believe that Sean turned a blind eye to instances of drinks being tampered with, with myself being directly affected, which is unacceptable for any establishment, especially one serving alcohol.Overall, I urge the management of the craft beer establishment to reconsider Sean's suitability for a managerial position. His past affiliations and questionable conduct raise serious concerns about the safety and integrity of the establishment. As a patron, I would not feel comfortable returning to an establishment where such behavior is tolerated or condoned. In conclusion, I advise potential patrons to exercise caution when visiting this establishment and to be aware of the potential risks associated with the management's oversight.
