I want to thank this restaurant and Miguel Martinez for offering me food when I was struggling. I posted in a local group as a member of sanford where the restaurant is located. Miguel messaged and offered me food and for anyone else who lived with me who might be struggling. Not only do they help their community, but they have the best smash burger I have ever had and I am very picky about burgers. When I am not struggling as much I am going to be going back for another burger.

We used Maya Rosa to cater a corporate event for 100 ppl. The food was fantastic, everything was set up on time and the team was very friendly and easy to work with. I will definitely consider Maya Rosa for a future event.

We have been praying for an amazing smash burger place in DT Sanford and they have arrived!!! @mayarosa delivered 10 out of 10 and the strawberry lemonade made my heart smile!! If you have have not been! GO! xo They also have tacos and chicken that will be the next meal I try! & the owner was so sweet and everything packaged great xo xo xo

Great food man. When I see the truck I get the chicken sandwich and it’s always so good and I have no doubt that the other stuff tastes just as good. Just an overall good spot.

Maya Rosa is a literal hole in the wall! The owner Miguel and his team are phenomenal. I booked them for my wedding on 9.28.25 and they have delivered! Accommodating is an understatement the team is really into making sure every can eat! From taking allergies into consideration and even customization of one plate for one of my guests. I ordered meatballs, mozzarella tomato skewers, charcuterie board, mixed veggies, cilantro rice, mashed potatoes and gravy, red wine short ribs, and salmon. Everything was amazing all my guests loved it! We will definitely keep supporting them!

My fiancé and I had a tasting back in May of this year while we were deciding on a caterer for our wedding and the other businesses we tried couldn't compare to the taste of the food at Maya Rosa & Miguel's knowledge and passion for the food. We've been working with both Miguel and Kendall to curate our menu and they've been so helpful with helping us decide on pairings, accommodate our guests' food allergies, and answer all of our questions. We can't wait to have them for our special day!

My fiancé and I have had such a wonderful experience working with Maya Rosa Catering. We’ve been in contact with both Kendall and Miguel, and they have been nothing short of amazing. Kendall has been our main point of contact and has always been quick to respond to any questions we have. If there’s ever something she doesn’t know right away, she lets us know she’s working on it and always gets back to us in a timely manner. Miguel, the head chef, is not only friendly and knowledgeable but also very open to feedback. During our tasting, he welcomed our thoughts and made it clear that he wanted everything to be exactly how we envisioned it for our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was so positive that we confidently decided to move forward with Maya Rosa Catering for our big day. We couldn’t be more excited to have them be part of our wedding!

Incredible food, amazing people, and highly recommended!

The chicken and waffles are perfect for entrees or late night snacks, tacos were so fresh (homemade tortilla shells!), and literally not one thing I wouldn’t eat again. We’re excited to have them cater our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

Today 5/10 - We have officially booked Maya Rosa after our tasting I fell in love with their menu online and trying it in person only made me love them more! Delicious food and an amazing variety of food to please anyone, I have been in a lot of communication with Kendall she is so sweet and personable I am so excited to have them at our wedding. We loved everything we sampled but our top highlights are the anti-pasta, wine braised short ribs, Mojo Pork, the Mac and cheese and Maduros!!

We did the tasting for our wedding at Maya Rosa and it was a phenomenal experience! From the moment I reached out to this company, Kendall was responsive and helpful along every step of the way. The communication, professionalism, assortment of menu options, and affordability were main indicators for us to move on to the tasting. We were politely greeted by Kendall at the tasting and got to meet the head chef/owner, Miguel who was personable and took his time to explain each dish and answer our questions. Miguel’s passion for cooking was evident. The quality, profile of the flavors, and presentation were excellent! I also like that Miguel is willing to work with us to accommodate some of our guests with food allergies. My fiancé and I are both of Caribbean descent and we do a lot of cooking so flavor and selection of ingredients are very important to us! Given these positive experiences, we will be moving forward with booking with them for our upcoming wedding!
