The food quality was satisfactory, and the restaurant maintained a clean environment. Service was also very good. However, we were not informed by the server that lettuce, tomato, and onion additions to the tuna melt incurred a $1.29 charge per item, which we found excessive. This resulted in an unexpected $3.87 increase to the sandwich cost. We recommend being transparent by informing customers of all surcharges prior to ordering to avoid this type of billing discrepancy. Furthermore, the credit card processing fee is another unexpected cost. Based on these hidden charges and the practice of nickle and dimeing customers, we will not be returning to this establishment.

Well I have to say this is a first. My husband and I have been going to Sally's Diner for awhile. The service today was good as usual until this woman in her 70's who is an employee but not serving customers took the liberty of cutting off my husband's tag from his tee-shirt without even asking if it was ok. I was in the midst of paying the bill and didn't have time to ask her to stop. She was very rude. Now what size shirt is he wearing? Who knows? She took off the tag. I don't see her buying my husband's clothes or washing it. What business was it of hers to overstep her boundaries. It's one thing to ask if it's ok to tuck in the tag but it's another to cut it off when we did not request it. Very rude and unprofessional!!!

I came for breakfast on Monday and my experienced was terrible. Been come in here for a while. I found
out the Waitress works on Mondays. I wasn't ever gonna come back but I'll never come in Monday.
It's not the best. It's a very old school local joint. The only reason why the food has two stars is because the bacon was good, I had biscuits and gravy and eggs, honestly I've had better biscuits and gravy from fast food restaurants that was less salty. The biscuits at Sally's were definitely not homemade and neither was the sausage gravy. The eggs are eggs as fast as the food came out they were easly whipped up fast and then put quickly on a hot pan or griddle. The service is what you expect as at a breakfast/lunch joint like this nice and pleasant with a group that seems like they have worked there and together for years. The decor could use a refresh as it seems like it's been kept up the same for many years. Finally, don't go there without cash as they have a difference in price in my case a little more than a dollar to pay by card. In fact save yourself the hassle and just don't go there at all! There's much better breakfast/lunch restaurants in the Orlando area!

We usually love it here! Recently husband ordered a Reuben melt. It came with CHEDDAR cheese instead of Swiss! We waited so long for our food ( a busy time) he ate it anyway- said to me after, It was terrible. Did the cook think no one would notice? Would he eat it? The server should have said they’re out of Swiss so he could order something else. Also, my fries were not hot when brought.

This is clearly a place where all are not welcomed. Waitress took my order and made no suggestions. She didn't ask if this was my first time ABSOLUTELY NO CONVERSATION!!! White family walks in. How's your day? guys met at the door with coffee. I was never asked about a hot beverage it the coldest day of the winter. I was given water. That's it. All the other patrons were, of course, White. They laughed and talked the entire time. My food was literally dropped off, and the waitress didn't ask if I needed anything else! She left that cold platter and never returned to ask how my food was. SHE SAID NOTHING ELSE TO ME!!!
An older white gentleman was standing at the door as I entered. I looked up once I was seated to notice he'd turned completely around and staring at me and didn't stop even after I stared back for about 5 minutes. The look was what are you doing here are you lost!! I woke up around 6 am. this morning and wanted breakfast. I read all these raving reviews about Sally's family and kindness and welcoming everyone and all being treated the same. Now I know who's writing these reviews it's NOT US!!! I will share this post with every one of us to caution them about rushing into Sally's because it may not be the welcoming gathering we expect. I asked questions about the menu, and I had a direct cold answers No effort on the waitresses part to give me clarity. It was yes, no!!! I looked at the door on my way out for a sign that may have indicated who was welcomed and who wasn't some white owned mom, and pops are getting selective about the population of people they serve!!!! WELL, NOW I KNOW!!! I've been kicking myself because I left a tip. But, I've just realized they really did deserve it as they gave me a LARGE TIP IN RETURN!!! Sad Day!!!! 😠 This review may even excite them. Yes, I'm giving them what they want

Food is super good, and exactly what you would expect from a local mom and pop style diner. Basic diner fare with great lunch and dinner specials. The breakfast was incredible, with really good biscuits and gravy as well as buttermilk pancakes as large as dinner plates which we're so yummy. Our server Denise was as friendly and accommodating as it gets. We will definitely be back often!

This place is spectacular, Robin served me very subtly, and with her beautiful smile, she served me the best Sallys pancakes. I highly recommend it for breakfast and I hope to return soon for dinner.
