It’s a solid grocery store/restaurant. The food is a bit pricey compared to some Mediterranean places I have seen but the quality of ingredients and sauces was very high.
Noor the cashier was very polite and and gave great service. Great food. Will buy again.
Everything is Expensive. Very hot inside , Looks like ac is not working,
I had a wonderful experience! The sales associate is friendly, patient, and so pleasant! I like that there was a dining area for my dear Sister In Christ and I! It is clean and organized! I ordered platter #10! So fresh and delicious! Excellent homemade hummus! We were given a sample of the baklava, excellent! It's been so long since I've eaten this well!
The inside layout has changed, but it's more open and easy to shop through. A great place to get your Turkish needs.
Good items
Persian and Palestinian food is served here. My family loves the platter with multiple types of meat. Something for all pallets. The food is great. We typically get the Sabzi as well. It’s also a grocery store.
Second time eating at Shiraz Market. Had two kebab plate and some dessert pastry. Food was bland. Rice tasted like paper and was dry like paper as well. Meat wasn’t actual meat, more chicken “product”. The lady taking the orders was strangely unfriendly.
But none of this is why I write the review. Normally I’d have a bad meal, move on with my life and take my business elsewhere. I write because I woke up last night with stomach cramps, sweating and diarrhea. I got no sleep and have been on the toilet all day long.
There is no question in my mind that the food at Shiraz Market left me food poisoned. I ate nowhere else yesterday. The thought of their kebab platter and little pastry dessert makes me nauseous. AVOID.
Hidden gem! This is a great spot for middle eastern food and groceries. They have a wide selection of cheeses, spreads, and spices ar competitive prices.
I have been going to shiraz for a long time, since before they moved into their current location, once upon a time I had a coffee shop around the corner, me and the owner would talk every time I came and I even purchased teas from them to serve at my cafe, this place is magical and one of the best market's in the state, they have recently (to my knowledge) hired a new cashier, the cashier has, I believe, knowingly failed to provide correct change when I use cash, and has before charged me a higher price, using a different item name, for the items that I purchased. Normally I would give the benefit of the doubt, but this is the third separate occurrence, that's why I don't believe it has been negligence but malice

The lady at the register was very rude and not friendly at all. Will not return.
My favorite restaurant in this area is rice, meat, and chicken. The taste is amazing, and I will never forget the baklava. Love it.
