THE FRIED CRAB CAKE SANDWICH WAS GREAT. THE SERVICES WAS GREAT TO I WILL VISIT AGAIN!
The étouffée was like putting a salt lick in my mouth and the shrimp and grits was about a plain and dry as the Sahara desert. The grilled oysters were the size of postage stamp The service was great and friendly but at the end of the night, the bill was over $200 for food that didn’t evenly remotely do New Orleans proud. This is very disappointing as downtown Sanford has so many amazing restaurants. This is NOT one of them.
I often miss Louisiana on Fridays... this restaurant brought me so much joy today. The atmosphere (decorations and music) as well as the delicious food will definitely make you feel like you're in New Orleans! Everything we tried was good! 10/10

Eddie greets guests warmly and Raven always takes great care of them. Chef, the owner, is engaging and enjoyable to talk to. The food is phenomenal and the taste and quality is the best. The VooDoo balls were to die for and the beignets are amazing. Many visitors find the menu full of exciting options to try and plan to return for more. Overall, The Bayou Kitchen & Lounge offers a fun, flavorful, and welcoming environment for those craving authentic Cajun food.
