Had a good time with our friends but could have used another pot for cooking to many items crowded in cooking pot

We have tried this place 3 times now. The cheese and chocolate are good, but this restaurant doesn't even try to serve you fresh food. The broccoli is always almost spoiled, the tortilla chips were incredibly stale, the bread bits were stale, the meat is incredibly over salted, and service is slow. If you're paying $50 or more per person to dip dippers into cheese, all of the dippers should be fresh at the very least. We will not be going back to this location.

We had a party of 8 and it was a birthday group. Alex was the server. Service was terrific, the food was as good as always and while they've made a few changes in the menu and accompaniments, all made a fun night out.

Ambiance, service, and food were on point. This is the first time I skipped the chocolate fondue course (this was a hard decision), but I did not regret it as the cheese and entree courses were perfect portions. HIGHLY recommend their espresso martini!

We had a great time be of summer/back to school dinner as a family. Matthew was an amazing server! The food especially the cheese and chocolate were great as were the cocktails for mom and dad! We will definitely be back soon and will make sure to request Matthew!

I want her to celebrate my daughter‘s 15th birthday with a few of her friends. It was everyone's first time going and we had a blast. Thank you so much for explaining the process and making our special occasion extra special! You guys rock

Kate was our server and she made it the most enjoyable part of the the night. She was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to my wife and my needs. I will definitely be back just because of her. Thank you Kate. Chef Murphy

Great meal, great atmosphere and our server Kate was absolutely amazing! Her impressive knowledge of the menu is only outweighed by her exceptional personality!!

We took the al a carte. I liked the chocolate fondue. Cheese fondue was ok.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time on our wedding anniversary and it was an absolutely amazing experience. We did the 4 courses and enjoyed every single thing we had. It’s honestly a great value for the experience and quality of the food. Service was impeccable; our server, Samantha was so sweet and did a great job explaining everything since it was our first time. Even the manager came to check on us and make sure we were taken care of (a very special touch). We actually enjoyed it so much we came back a few days later to try the happy hour and were just as pleased with the food and service (highly recommend this amazing deal!!). Overall this was a fun, unique, and delicious experience you definitely shouldn’t miss out on!!! Can’t recommend enough.

This The Worst Restaurant Experience of My Life – We Will Never Return

We visited The Melting Pot to celebrate my best friend’s birthday — a party of 12, including three small children. We made a reservation well in advance and paid a non-refundable $25 per person deposit, expecting a smooth, enjoyable evening. What we got instead was an absolute disaster from start to finish.

Upon arrival, we were told — for the first time — that our party could not be seated together and would be split into two separate tables (8 and 4). Had we been informed of this when we made the reservation, we would have chosen to dine elsewhere. But it was a special night, and we tried to make the best of it.

From the beginning, it was clear the staff was not prepared. Before we even ordered drinks, they were struggling to figure out how to split the check three ways. And we were all seated grouped how our checks should be split in order to make it easier on our servers. We were assigned two servers, both of whom were uninformed, inattentive, and often completely absent. I had to ask multiple times for basic necessities like a highchair and utensils, and repeatedly requested that the meal be sped up — all of which were met with slow, ineffective responses.

The experience dragged on for three full hours. According to The Melting Pot’s own website, a four-course meal should take 1.5 to 2 hours. The restaurant was not busy — there were plenty of open tables and no clear reason for the extreme delay. It’s a Tuesday. And let’s be honest: we’re the ones cooking our food. Everything is prepped in the kitchen and brought out. It is absolutely mind-boggling how this took so long.

Luckily, our children were incredibly well behaved, but that was pure luck — not something any parent can count on during a three-hour meal. Honestly, had it not been my best friend’s birthday, we would have walked out.

To add insult to injury: The Melting Pot somehow managed to melt all the fun right out of what should have been a special, joyful night. Instead of honoring my friend, it felt like we were all just trying to survive dinner.

It was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had, and to make matters worse, it came with a mandatory deposit and a hefty bill that felt like a complete waste. For a celebration we looked forward to, it turned into a stressful, exhausting, and frankly embarrassing night.

We will never return to The Melting Pot, and I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate. I strongly advise anyone planning a special event to think twice before choosing this restaurant.
