I've been visiting Wako Taco for several years now and always have a great experience. I wanted to buy my employees lunch and wondered in just before lunch-hour on a Friday. I asked if it would be possible to get food ready for 8 people on short notice. They didn't even blink, had tacos and sides ready to go in 15 minutes. #thebest #lovetheseguys ps. try the birria street tacos.

I always get the pibil pork street tacos with the pickled red onions. They gave me the sweet mango pineapple salsa this time and it was a great addition to the tacos. These are the best tacos I've had so far in centeral Florida! Definitely my favorite.

Place is always on point, and they will walk your food over to the brewery next door. Zero complaints, ever.

This place is okay if you are drinking at hourglass and need a bite, but it’s not great by any stretch.

The chicken tastes like fridge, only way I can describe it. Kind of a freezer burnt flavor. The beef is pale dry and flavorless. Queso is watery with little no flavor, it could use a can of rotel.

Best thing on the menu is actually the shrimp tacos surprisingly enough, those are pretty good.

This food is borderline inedible. Ordered 4 varieties of tacos, all were extremely disappointing. I’ve never ordered esquites/street corn where there was a half cup of liquid from not straining the canned corn.

After time at the brewery next door, we were ready to eat. (Hourglass Brewing connects to Wako Taco.) Friendly guy explained my options, and brought it over to us. The “Wako Taco” is one of my favorite vegetarian options I have ever had. It was so dense with delicious flavors and textures! With multiple unique ingredients. My son enjoyed his quesadilla, which I finished for him because the cheese was too good. The rice, chicken tacos, and hot sauces were all enjoyed. The fish taco not as much. We will definitely eat there again!

Kid-friendliness: There are two kids meals. And just beyond the connecting door, some free video games they can play.

Really good food, have the Pork chimichanga. Delicious. All the sauces are home made. Authentic Mexican food.

I really wanted to like this place, but we didn’t at all.

We ordered chips and dip (the dip was weird- color flavor and texture)
Flautas (the chicken was so dry with no flavor)
Street corn (very watery)
Beef tacos (the meat was pale)

And Birria street tacos - they were okay

Even the fountain soda was weird.
Unfortunately we will not come back.

Service is good and so is the atmosphere and convenience. But the food?! It's sooo mid, go to papa bees if you want something good. Taco Bell is better yall and that says a lot. The ground beef is just.... awful. Terrible texture and no "taco" flavor. It's okay if you're drunk though I guess? And it TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get.

Everything we have had has been fantastic. Must try their quesabirria tacos, pibil pork street tacos, chimichanga and sopes. Also get a side of the habanero salsa, absolutely to die for!

Delicious! I got a mahi taco and a pork taco on corn tortillas. Tortillas were really yummy and fresh. Mahi was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Pork had a great texture and flavor. I’m dairy free but they were nice enough to sub the cheese and sour cream with their pickled onion. Perfection! They have a few tables outside which is great on a nice day. My new favorite gluten free option in the area!
