What a cool place to hangout and have a cold beer and tacos after a long kayaking day!
We did 8.5miles route and stopping at this place was just perfect!

Me and my family go to the spring very often , but it is always a bad experience to order food when the big lady is taking orders , she has the worst attitude and is always rude to everyone, even to kids , she makes you feel bad and you can tell she enjoys it, I have 2 foodtrucks and a restaurant , I can tell you that she is harming this business slowly. Stay away if you see her at the window .

Jordan is awesome. He closed 25 minutes prior and still insisted that he cook us something, whilst a storm came through and had tornado warnings. Great tendies too. Give my man a raise‼️‼️

We will not be returning back to this cafe, the staff was so rude and condescending, the park had outrageous requirements and were not accommodating at all. It was incredibly hard to find a person to talk to on the phone to see if the park was full and once we arrived, they told us we couldn’t bring any of our own food or packed lunches at all. Everything in our bags were searched and pulled out and stuffed back in without a care in the world. We were required to pay an entry fee PER PERSON whereas other springs near the area only required a fee per vehicle. The staff was incredibly rude as well, once we met up with our family in the parking lot, an employee approached us in their golf cart and said that we were “a waste of space” because we were discussing what to do with our cooked food from home with the family. When we approached two girls at the desk at the entrance, we heard a comment regarding our family member’s car through their walkie talkie that was on full volume, criticizing the car when it was completely rude and irrelevant and the employees were laughing at it while they rummaged through our belongings. Employees were trained with no common manners and no place where families travel to spend their time together should operate this way. Such a horrible place.

In the 3 years I’ve been visiting this place, never have I been treated which such disdain and disrespect by a staff member. To the point that my family (party of 9) decided to cancel our orders and took our businesses elsewhere. This happened after I tried to order food and the staff member who was taking the order rush me out telling me to get away from “her food truck” when I tried to place an other order for another family member who did not speak English. Hence the fact the the place was absolutely empty and there were no clients waiting in line. Always had a great good at this place, but not today. This person, who I will assume is the owner of the restaurant since she specifically told me to get away from her food truck is clearly lacking a great deal of customer service skills and business management.I am absolutely disappointed, aggravated, and will never set foot in that place while that person continues to work there. What a way to ruin the great vibe of Wekiwa Island.

This place is awesome. Good eats, drinks, and kind people. Different world from anywhere nearby. Come chill out and make friends. Jump in the river and cool off. So wild out here.

Wonderful place to get some sunshine. This food truck offers vegetarian meals but a few can be made vegan, just ask for no cheese or sauce. Although, I really really wish they had some vegan options or offered to sub for vegan cheese and vegan sour cream, like Forager, so the meals would still have that extra pizazz.? Nature n*** rant: Being so close to the river and such beautiful nature it's kind of sad to see all the one-time use products from the food truck. From the tiny plastic ramekins, to plastic eatery, plastic cups, plastic straws, condiments in plastic packaging, etc. You would think that they would take on the responsibility of being more eco-friendly given the precious location they're in. I did notice other visitors photos had compostable cups but I didn't see any last time I visited. Perhaps this is something they are trying to incorporate? Still, I see that a lot of work in this area could be done. I wonder what other self-sustainable eco-friendly things such businesses could adopt? ?
