Great place with awesome service. We had manicotti and salad and sausage. Everything was amazing. The red sauce was amazing. The sausage was out of this world. Garlic bread was very fresh and generously covered with garlic pesto.
Atmosphere is cozy and romantic but good for casual dining as well. Music, great and not too loud. Lighting nice and dim but comfortable. We will come back again.

I really enjoy the quality and quantity of food at this restaurant under the new ownership. The food is delicious. An actual real, crispy salad with more than lettuce and the side of garlic rolls were also a nice touch. I’m not certain the last time a restaurant provided them without paying extra. I will definitely keep going back.

My parents were in town a couple of weeks ago and we went to Il Pomodoro. We all had soup: pasta fagioli (x1) and Italian wedding (x2). We were all exclaiming how delicious it was between rude slurps that might be considered complimentary to the chef in some countries.

For meals, I had the veal marsala, my parents had the chicken piccata and the chicken parmesan. All three dishes were out of this world. Particularly the marsala and piccata. We made sure to wax poetic to owner Nick!

My dad and I even said Il Pom is in our top two or three restaurants in PBC. Truly.

And the space is so beautiful now. So thankful for a thoughtful, dedicated place like this right in my backyard.

Maybe this is obvious, as it applies to most restaurants, but if you usually do delivery/take-out, treat yourself sometime to an in-restaurant meal. Straight from the kitchen is A+.

Il Pomodoro never disappoints. I’ve been here before and loved it, but this weekend really sealed it for me after being at a friend’s house where they catered from Il Pomodoro. The food was just as incredible off-site as it is in the restaurant.

Every dish is full of authentic Italian flavor. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and homemade, and the flavors are consistently spot on. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into every plate.

The service is another standout. Whether dining in or enjoying their catering, everything is handled professionally, efficiently, and with genuine warmth. They make you feel like a valued guest every single time.

If you’re looking for amazing Italian food, whether for a night out or a catered event, Il Pomodoro is a must. Consistent, delicious, and absolutely worthy of five stars.

owner is a jerk. staff is useless. waited an hour for an order that was supposed to be ready at 6:28, and wasn’t ready until 7:30. continuously being told 2-3 more minutes and then waiting even longer. “owner” has an attitude problem and was no help and didn’t even apologize for the wait. WILL NOT ever go back here again.

Came in recently and ended up meeting the new owner. Super genuine, welcoming guy, which already set a great tone. The food though… easily some of the best I’ve had here in all the years I’ve been coming. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and clearly made with care. You can tell there’s real pride behind what’s coming out of the kitchen now. If this is the direction things are going, this place just leveled up.
