I REALLY wanted to like this coffee shop. It’s so cute, the coffee is good and the employees for the most part are friendly.But the last THREE times I have been it hasn’t been a five star experience.The first time they forgot to give me pastry that I ordered to go, not a big deal, I went to the counter to remind them but they had just sold the last one.Again, not the end of the world, they gave me an IOU. That worked for me.The second time I went in, I ordered my coffee and pastry, sat down to read my book, they bring me my coffee (which was great) but no muffin. I wait about another 10 minutes thinking it may be taking a little while longer because I asked for it to be warmed but nothing. I finally went to the counter and asked…they forgot.Slightly annoying because there seems to be a trend, but I wasn’t in a rush and the muffin was really good.Now this morning, my daughter and I were running a bit behind for school, so I told her we could swing by Sola and get her chocolate croissant that she didn’t get the other day.We get to Sola, I send her in, after a few minutes she comes back out and we head to school.We get on the road, I could smell it before I saw it. The pastry was burnt. Like stink up the car burned.We were already in Lynn Haven School traffic so I wasn’t going to turn around.I’m not going to say I won’t ever be back, because it’s pretty much the only show in town besides Starbucks, and the coffee is good. But this last event with the croissant, really rubbed me the wrong way.You could not miss the fact that it was burned so bad it wasn’t edible, but because you were handing it off to a teenager you weren’t worried about making it right?Doesn’t sit well with me.I’ll post a pic of what was left of the croissant, my daughter had to eat around the charred pieces.

I’ve been to Sola several times and will often recommend it. It reminds me of my favorite coffee bar in Alaska. A quiet buzz, comfortable atmosphere and good coffee and food. Today is the first day I decided to get some office work done here, other times, I just meet up with friends. A must try in the Panama City, Lynn Haven area.

The ambience in this place is quiet yet inviting. The coffee itself is quite good and you can tell that the baristas are well trained and know how to operate the machinery plus some foam art on any coffee or latte. Prices are fair and the quality to price ratio is good.I also appreciate that they have beer on top and some wine as well. Not just a coffee shop but also a lounge in a sense. The two ladies running the place when I visited were both polite and courteous. Will return again for another cup of brew or possibly an afternoon glass of wine.

I ordered a Winter Spice Latte with whole milk in house and it was delicious! Cozy and smooth, sweet but not overpowering. The shop itself was inviting and cute! I sat and worked on my computer, while many others did the same. I would definitely come back! Thank you!

Best espresso this side of the bridge! I really love the flavor of the beans they are using - very full and flavorful. I only wish they offered bigger sizes!Really nice quite place to read or hang out. Trivia night is great as well!

I had a delightful experience at this coffee restaurant! Their Americano is top-notch, providing that perfect caffeine kick. The fresh red velvet cupcakes are a sweet treat that pairs wonderfully with the coffee. The quiet study area is a real gem - it's peaceful and conducive to productivity.The service was fantastic and everyone was nice and attentive.
