What an unexpected find in a small town across the street from our one night stopover. Everything was outstanding! The ceviche, fresh with lots of fish. Cuban bowl jammed packed with plantains, black beans, yellow rice, veggies, fresh pico, choice of meat. Hubby had the slow roasted pork, so flavorful. I highly recommend this little jem of a restaurant.
Cuban sandwich and the black beans are really good. I wasn't impressed with the palomilla. Sweet plantains are average. If more time and love were put into the cooking, I believe it could be a lot better. I believe this restaurant suffers from location, which also influences how it is prepared.

The food was really good. The service was great. The atmosphere made you feel like you were getting the cultural experience. It's a little too cold in the building for my liking. But the food was worth it.
