Because of this restaurant, we will never go to Popeyes anymore. And we also will tell all our friends. Don’t know why , just only two orders of 2 pics chicken ends up $18 and some changes. No matter what, can’t made the order taker to understand just those two orders. No desert, no sides and that is all. Chicken was like warm. Biscuits taste old. Finally it was $6.99 for two pcs of dark meat. Wow! That is, they are selling $28 for a whole chicken. Never Popeyes again. Should have gone to McDonald’s. This is the answer to Popeyes franchiser’s question: this review is about Popeyes at Macclenny Florida off I-10 area. Time was around 7:30 pm on Saturday August 23. I don’t have the receipt because we were so upset that we just took couple bite on the slightly warm small size chicken and threw everything away in the trash bin of the hotel.

I love PopEyes! I know it’s fast food so you can’t expect a 5 Star experience. BUT, the store was filthy. The floor was greasy, the counters a mess. A staff member left their vape and a drink sitting on the counter where you pick up your food. There was NO toilet paper nor paper towels in the women’s restroom which makes staff hygiene a concern. The door to the bathroom was also broken. 2 staff stood outside chilling while a few girls ran the register, cooked and drive thru. Needless to say it took about 15 mins to get 3 conbo meals and we were the only ones there. This store needs a major intervention!
