Me, my husband and son went in yesterday (10/28) for lunch (12:05pm) and were told we couldn't sit by the windows because they were cleaning so we went and sat at another table. One of the girls took our order and told us it wouldn't be too long, but I noticed there was nobody cooking. Apparently they were doing their deep cleaning and we ended up being there a solid 45 minutes before we got our food. I would have just appreciated them telling me it was going to be a while so I could decide whether we wanted to stay or go somewhere else. Also, who "deep cleans" a 24hr restaurant at lunchtime? It would make much more sense to do this at like 3am. We'll just drive to Baldwin next time we want waffle house.
