On the road and stopped at a Waffle house off ramp I-95. The big rage for waffles now is the thick Belgian Waffle. It's usually doughy and seldom crisp but hols lots of butter and syrup in the deeper waffling squares. The Waffle house jas the traditional thinner Waffle and they can cook it any way you want. I ask for the crispy extended timed Waffle. Adding the crispy hash browns completes the sitting. If you are so health conscious that the added cooking grease on the grilled hash browns would offend you, then you shouldn't stop by! The menu has just about every possible breakfast food combination possible. They take pride in their service and believe it or not most of the cooks or grill masters are some of the best cooks and watching them during a rush hour is like watching an artist at work. It's middle America food! I'm from Arkansas and it's good for me. Don't forget the grits!

The service was good but the food was a different matter. My grits were warm but the person eating with me her grits came out with steam on them. The waffle was a blueberry waffle all the blueberries where in the middle so it was a bit mushy in the middle part of the waffle. The cheese wasn't real cheese as it didn't melt in the grits i wasn't aware of that before i ordered it but i do know now. I didnt let them know because it was only 2 people working and it wasnt all that serious. It was okay not the best that ive had here. Plus there were 2 other people they were definitely catered to i say that because 1 guy the cook brought him his food personally and the other guy i think he may have been a regular his food was cook to order.. i thought all of the food was cook to order… i observe and listen to things closely.. maybe too much i did leave a tip even after i said i wasnt but.. you can treat your regulars good but also do the same for the reat of the customers if you want them to spend their coins there as well. Just a customer service tip..
