Ari our server was Greatso friendly and fun. It was a chilly windy sunny day . The burger I had was very good, juicy and cooked medium just as I ordered it. Fries are the breaded ones and OK. I prefer fresh cut. Really good lunch and afternoon hangout.

Such a great spot at John's Pass. We were fortunate to see ZAZZ play live. Beautiful couple that makes music together. Bamboo has inside and outside areas so weather you want to in sun or shade many options.

Bamboo Beach Bar is the perfect definition of a salty beach bar, and I mean that in the best possible way. Mostly outdoor, live music rolling, drinks flowing, and absolutely zero interest in pretending to be something it’s not. This place knows its lane—and stays gloriously in it.
The cocktail game here is strong. Tequila-forward, beach-appropriate, and exactly what you want when you’re sitting outside in flip flops pretending winter doesn’t exist. Plenty of beer and other options if cocktails aren’t your thing, but honestly… lean into the tequila. You’re on vacation. Act accordingly.
Food-wise, the shrimp tacos are the bomb diggity. No notes. Just order them. Service is friendly with just the right amount of snark—the kind that lets you know you’re among professionals who’ve seen some things and survived Florida tourists with their soul intact.
We first found Bamboo Beach Bar in 2024 right after the hurricane, and it made such an impression that it was the very first place we returned to in 2025. That says everything. Coming from a cold climate, sitting outside in December, drinking tequila in flip flops, listening to live music? Yeah… that’s my kind of jam.
