If you’re questioning to come; just come. Came in for a chill New Year’s evening; It was absolutely slammed, but was helped right away. Gotta watch the sunset. I sat at the bar. Jared was the bartender who served me as well and was AMAZING! Keeping up with the bar orders making sure to check on everyone while also making every drink for the entire restaurant. All with a smile and wonderful service might I add. I am a manager myself in the service industry and would be proud to call him my worker/ bartender! Need more good positive people especially in the service industry.

Atmosphere great good music but thats not why you go to the olace. Nothing special ive had better food and definitely not a good experience for a vacation. If i wasnt on vacation and i knew about this place as a local it wouldnt be a place id walk into again.

Ugh! Soooooo disappointed tonight! I have been here before several months ago on a Sunday afternoon and it was great! Tonight, we arrived before 6pm on a Monday and there were approximately 7 tables and a few people at the bar. It was not busy. After waiting approximately 6 minutes to be greeted at our table by a very friendly server (Cory), another male server who ended up being one of the bartenders…threw a bit of a tantrum the other server approached us. It was a nice evening and we really weren’t in a hurry, but it took another 6 minutes to get a tea, Pepsi, and water. We were asked if we were ready to order and I said we would be after they brought the wine that we also ordered. While the female bartender was pleasant, she was clueless and through the dinner only cleared dishes when it was suggested to her. The appetizer took a long time to come out, but it was hot. Then, the food took at least 20 minutes…for assembled tacos and a quesadilla… which is the only thing they actually had to cook. Apparently, you can get corn tortillas that are soft or hard… Be aware of that because we did not notice that on the menu because most places with Mexican food give you hard shell when you order corn. When the food finally came out and we realized the issue, I asked the manager if these were actually corn tortillas and he explained the situation. I said OK and he offered to remake them with hardshell. I said yes thank you we would appreciate it. Another 15+ minutes went by as the rest of the table was finishing their food. Ro was the manager who was trying to assist and he agreed it was uncommon for the menu to be that way when I asked how long it was going to take to get these we made tacos that literally only had meat and cheese in them!? Again, not even cooking anything. It likely took 30 seconds to assemble the 4 tacos! He then proceeded to tell me there was a more senior manager in the back who said we would basically just have to wait behind all of the other people now that they were busy. I made a point about how long the original ticket time took and how ridiculous it was to make a customer wait that long when the rest of their party had already finished their food. I say this because it was not an unreasonable expectation of how we ordered the food and he agreed. As it turns out, he went back there and made them himself… which is a very common managerial thing to do.

Through this time, our server/bartender never came to check on us. We did decide to order churros for dessert which as the restaurant emptied out, still took approximately 15 minutes. This server came over and seem to not really have any idea of what her transpired With the tacos. At this point the remade tacos that have been put in the system showed up. We had already ordered dessert and were surprised the food had finally come out after other tacos came, dishes were removed on the table, and we ordered dessert. That’s how long we would’ve had to wait if Ro did not make the tacos. After our server confirmed these additional tacos were not going to go on our bill, she asked if there was anything else we needed. I said… Yes the churros we ordered… All I can say is OMFG! I’ve worked in this industry… It’s genuine work and it can be difficult at times, but it doesn’t have to be this hard! They have quality food, but hopefully they can get their service issues under control. By the way, I tipped the first guy Cory who tried to take our table and probably would’ve made sure everything was great $20 even though he didn’t wait on us (he actually went back to make sure we got our churros). The male bartender who pitched a fit in the beginning, never made it back to our table the whole time we were here. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ in summary, it took almost 2 hours to get an appetizer of eggrolls, three orders of tacos, a quesadilla, and two orders of churros for 3 people. 🫤

We made reservations, got seated when we arrived at the time. All seemed well, then the delays began. Drinks were slow coming, food took forever (over an hour) and was cold and mediocre when it finally came out. The woman's bathroom was disgusting and unusable. For sure wouldn't go back!
