Love this place. Ate there twice within 5 nights. It's got that old school Italian restaurant feel. The food is spectacular. The prices reasonable. The service great. We will be back.

The eggplant parmigiana was delicious and so fresh. I was told by the owner that they cut and prepared upon ordering, not precut like most restaurants. I sampled the linguine with clams that my husband ordered and it was the best I've ever had, made with a light flavorful cream sauce. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy and the service is amazing here.

Food was mediocre. I had the fish stew with noodles. Nothing special.
The waitress/owner didn't pay much attention to my requests in particular i needed her to charge my personal credit card for the alcohol and the food with my business card (my employee doesn't allow paying for alcohol) and she didn't listen.

This is the best Italian cuisine i’ve had. especially for a costal restaurant. everything was amazing! could taste the culture. the soup of the day was like a chicken broth and tortellini, taste like home for me. the meatballs and sauce was incredible. perfect amount of zesty and sweet and meaty. (always get the sauce and meatballs bc everyone’s is different) the environment/vibes was homey and good. gives such a grandma/nonas kitchen. NOW THE DESSERTS WERE AMAZING!! The limoncello cake 10/10 and the tiramisu 10/10

Mario’s is an Italian restaurant with authentic Italian food. It’s a small restaurant so get there early! Waitress was so efficient and the place was charming. I would highly recommend.

Chicken was chewy and horrible. It was so hot inside we couldn’t enjoy our meal anyway.

It’s a nice little place. It was better 8-10 years ago. That’s how long I’ve been going. But something changed even before Covid and the food became different. Not only was it slightly not as good but you shouldn’t leave hungry after ordering an entree that is $30. Where’s the chicken and where’s the pasta? The portions are extremely SMALL and I am a small person. The waitress that has been there for years has a really mean attitude the last two times I was there. The younger waitress is a lot sweeter so hopefully if you go you will get her. It WAS my favorite restaurant and I’d go every week if these things changed.

Four of us had four different meals and they were great. The staff was friendly and attentive. Most entrees were$20-$30.

We just left. My husband and I were really grossed out by what we saw. Both the female waitress and the waiter from Montreal both took their bare hands and sprinkled stuff on items. They didn't have clean hands. They were bringing food out and clearing tables and putting what looked like parsley as food came out with their bare hands and setting the tables. I will never go back because of this and the food was just ok.

The food is phenomenal; my linguine with clams was perfectly al dente, bursting with fresh, garlicky flavor, and the homemade marinara on the chicken parmesan was rich and vibrant. Every meal comes with warm, crusty bread and a choice of soup or salad with their signature balsamic vinaigrette—both were fantastic! The staff is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel like family. Don’t miss the early bird specials from 5-6 PM for a great deal. Mario’s is a must-visit for anyone craving heartfelt Italian dishes in Madeira Beach!

Love love love love everything about Mario’s. To the kitchen and waitstaff. Bravo! Best place ever. Fablio was a true angel. She treated our family like her own. Can’t wait to go back.

Wish I could do no stars .. Don’t eat here . They have shitty attitudes and crappy food … then when you don’t leave a tip, they add one anyway… an $18.00 tip was added to the bill I didn’t even want to pay because the experience was so bad !!! Not to mention it’s a small spot . They cram people inside and it’s 85 degrees in there … I have contacted the bank. It was ALL reversed! Wanna be shady. Now you get nothing .
