I have celiacs disease and was a little nervous to eat here, but our waitress Amber was so kind, knowledgeable and made sure eating here was safe for me. They have a separate fryer for those with a gluten allergy. The food was amazing (I didn’t get sick) and the atmosphere is so fun. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Food was pretty good until i pulled a piece of hair out of my mouth. I was super disappointed. I had a crab cake patty which was pretty good but had a little spice to it due to the sauce on top. Waitresses were nice but the pipes leaked water from the roof and splashed our table.

Fries were the best of the items. Trout dip was good. Crab cakes were way too peppery. Not too spicy, they didn't taste good since blend wise. Fried grouper had zero seasoning at all. Scallops were cooked good, but not that well. Fish and chips also bland. Coleslaw bland, just wilted bland veg. Service was okay, he had a lot of tables to tend to at once, wasn't his fault. Atmosphere is fine, but not nearly as interesting as people said with them being all piratey. Saw nothing of the sort.

We went to Pirates Pub randomly in 2023, and I could not wait to go back this year. Absolutely the best steamers on Gulf Blvd.!!! We’re actually going back today. I was so happy with the food I tipped the cooks!!!

Was able to seat ourselves on dock. Took a long time to be greeted, and between every interaction was an excessive amount of time. Took a long time to get drinks, long time to be able to order food. Food was good but not work the wait.
I ordered a BLT and cole slaw. My son had the kids grilled cheese with fries. Our food was very good. Our server was very nice and took good care of us. I would definitely return!

Andrew was a great bartender and server! The views great and locals to visitors located on Madeira Beaches side of John's Pass Boardwalk, ice cream next door! Foods from local fresh fish and seafood and American fare. Delicious food and homemade French fries. Eat or drink inside or out and enjoy views of dolphins, and boats of everykind! Rentals of watercraft and tours like pirate ship are always great fun!!
