Had to leave another review because we came back here a couple weeks ago and this place was a lot better than the first time we came. The fish was great tasting and fresh and I loved the roll I ordered. I think it was the muscle man roll ... it was a deep fried roll with salmon and yellowtail. We also tried the beef spicy basil noodles and they were sooooo tasty. We did not re order the pad Thai because of our last experience , but I wonder now if it has been improved.

Food was fantastic and our waitress was berry good. Sushi was very good and my wife's Orange Chicken was awesome. The place is small but don't let that fool you. I would recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back.

Best Thai food! I have been coming to this family restaurant for a few years now and their food is always delicious. I drive all the way here from Orlando to enjoy their Thai Coconut Chicken Soup. No other Thai restaurant compares to this one. Highly recommended!

We ordered a whole spread. Miso soups, a fresh roll, and edamame to start. Golden dragon roll and red hot chili roll (both were amazing) and pineapple fried rice as entrees. The sushi was AMAZING. Highly recommend.

Just not good. Service sucked, didn't get things I ordered, and food was off. Didn't feel comfortable eating the raw fish. Would not return. Ice cream next door was good!! Lol

This was hands down the best restaurant we ate at the whole time we were in Treasure Island. (Including way better than Spinners!) The sushi was so fresh and delicious; I had the Good Friend and Mexican Sunrise rolls. The massamam curry, ginger beef, and panang chicken were all equally delicious. It was nice to find a place that took pride in the quality of the food they were serving. Other places seem to be staying in business solely because of the ambiance or views and the food lacks quality. Not Thai Star....absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back the next time I visit.
Stopped in on a whim during a recent visit to the area. Seated quickly and good came out fast! Pad Thai with tofu. 3.5 out if 5. Darker sauce than I'm used to with Pad Thai, but it was still pretty good. It was presented with a flour and some citrus rounds. Really nice touches.Vegetarian options: Tofu and rice noodles help me with my vegan/GF requirements!

My husband and I went to this place at 8pm on a Friday night. There were two open but not clean tables. We stood awkwardly at the door for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement at all, not even a please wait or we will be with you soon. We left.

Walked into restaurant and many tables needed bussing. Ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with beef, medium heat. The dish's presentation was poor. The meat was grey in color and the fried rice was bland in flavor. Additionally I have never seen broccoli in a Pineapple Fried Rice dish before (I HATE broccoli) and it wasn't in the menu description but there it was. They will not have me as a return customer.
