The Brown Boxer Madeira Beach

Going down hill. Used to have a great selection of food and drinks. Menu is limited now and the building is leaking everywhere. 😧

This has been our go to place for food and drinks for quite a while! They also have good entertainment. This location is closing down soon and we are so sad.

Food and drink are good, but, it's hot inside. But if that's the only complaint, there's nothing to worry about here.

We love coming here after our visit to the beach. Great way to wind down a beach day. Yummy food, good beer, relaxing outside environment (we normally sit outside). Families can definitely come here. They are even dog friendly!

Went to Brown Boxer and was looking to get their New York Strip. Steak was shown on menu when I picked one up from ice cream shop. Was informed it wasnt available. Menu had been drastically reduced (less entrees). Server was fine, food is average.

Not terribly impressed. If you're going to play bingo you may have a great time. If you're looking for a family dinner, I wouldn't bother. The server was pleasant, the food was mediocre, the service was slow. Took and hour and a half to eat and there was hardly anyone there.

The inside of the restaurant really does not smell good. It has old, very worn and filthy carpeting. Since it's near the beach I guess they don't figure it's worth replacing. Food ... kinda ho-hum. There's better places around. Find them.

You won't find better lunch specials on the beach. I almost always get the $5 burger and fries but they have a Reuben and chicken sandwich and turkey club also and all are good.

Food and service was excellent. Loved the band Curtis (something). Establishment needed some updating. Its a beach bar.

Great time, great live music! Excellent service...drinks could be a little less expensive but overall experience...well worth it

Don't go there unless you want to wait to get service then have other customers grab your drink and say they want to taste it and when you tell them no they say I'm going to taste it anyway and drink it!! Left to go somewhere else that we can enjoy ourselves and not worry about strangers grabbing our drinks or food!!

Nice atmosphere for hanging with friends drinking and listening to live music. Great central location near a handful of bars.

Good food at a fair price. Really friendly service. I believe he told us there were daily lunch specials before 4? Not positive about the time. My burger was really good & it is one of the things available during the lunch special. Nice patio for outdoor dining.

Clean establishment with friendly front house staff & great kitchen crew that deliver tasty & accurate orders. The floor plan has diverse sections that have the ability to accommodate a range of outings. One section is perfect for family type dining, the opposite houses gaming, the backside is the bar area that literally opens onto a large deck where the bands set up at & TVs set up everywhere. My overall opinion of this venue is excellent & worth checking out no matter the function.

We vacationed within walking distance and went there several times! Great service and drink selection. Had lunch and apps and all was delicious! Would highly recommend!
