Tried to check this place out during Seafood Festival. Me and two friends went inside and saw plenty of seating. Also, bar seating was empty with “reserved” signs on it. A couple at a table said it should be fine since someone else was just there earlier.
After waiting almost 10 minutes for service, the blonde lady who has to be “Sue” acknowledged us. She scolded me for bringing in my Yeti that was empty and accused me of having alcohol in it without verifying. Then, proceeded to tell us how we didn’t wait to be seated…. We are sitting at the bar.
I had no patience with this miserable person. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Loved this place. Owners were incredibly friendly and nice. Has its' own parking on backside which is rare at John's Pass. The crab soup and mahi teriyaki burger were both yummy. Wife loved the smoked fish spread and shrimp and brother loves the grouper cakes and calamari. Generous pours of wine and was told restaurant was an old officers quarters that were moved to the current location.

Went to try the burger for the burger fest and was chastised about ordering a sandwich that is normally $15 for $10. The burger fest pricing makes everything $10 so not sure why that was my problem. Don’t sign up if you’re going to be mad when people try to participate. Worst experience I had out of every restaurant on the list. Burger was good but won’t be coming back.

Had girls night out! Best Blackend Grouper, best Fried Grouper and best Crab Cakes! Try the fish spread, totally awesome and the Steamed Pinks were perfect! Sue and Walt are amazing
