Excellent lunch! Soup/sandwich combo was wonderful. Mushroom spinach soup was incredibly flavorful, would definitely buy again. Prices were great also, can't beat $10 for lunch, drink included.

This was a half way point to meet up with family. As soon as you walkin the patrons give you a nod or say good afternoon. You can feel the close community vibe. The menu had a variety of options as well a delicious choice of soups. We sat and enjoyed our meal and stayed for quite a while. I asked the cashier, whose name was Pam, and turned out to be the owner, if it was ok that we have been there for so long. She could not have been nicer and said we were welcome to stay as long ad we like or till closing whatever came first lol. Low and behold we did stay till closing and Pam went out of her way to suggest two other places where we could continue our visit. Thank you Pam for a delicious lunch your hospitality and kindness. If you have a chance to visit the town of Madison don’t leave without stopping in at MOTHERS SOUP COMPANY and saying hello to Pam you won’t be disappointed!

I purchase a soup from the menu that was not advertised as being being spicy. After only one spoon I brought it to the counter and ask for a exchange. The soup was super spice. Management acknowledged the soup was spicy but said said she would have to charge me for a new soup although nowhere on the menu it indicated it being spicy. She also refused a refund. She insisted I give it away to someone who might wanted and left me without a lunch. I felt that was bad customer service and won’t return over that. Plus the grilled cheese wasn’t made the same way I had it the first time as well. The first time was just tomato and cheese but this time bacon was added. So I had to take that as is as well. Failed service not everyone can eat spicy things would be nice to know upfront if I’m ordering spicy food
