30 minutes prior to my visit I had a train wreck of grilled octopus salad across the street at Dune Deck! friend recommended Art Basil and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the atmosphere, decor, food and pricing. Adam was a great server and had a great conversation with the lovely Hedy. Will definitely return

The food was bland, the meatballs tasted like they had no seasoning at all. The shrimp scampi was watered down and soupy, it looked gross, the chicken marsala was bland, penne ala vodka was also like soup. Out of 8 people we were all very disappointed in the food on every item.

I was around the area and the new open sign called my attention and I decided to go in for lunch time. As soon I crossed the main door I saw a guy really hyper, he looks really stressful and sweaty. I’ politely asked him for a table and he immediately shouted “you have to wait because im dealing with something “. I said wow this is terrible service. Afterwards, I asked for the manager to put the complaint about this person attitude, and guess what?…. He said…. I’m the manager. To be honest, I walked away. To the ownership of this place here’s my respectful suggestion: Most restaurants are struggling to get people in because the economy and many more situations, but with employees like this MANAGER, it will be hard to be successful. Good luck with that.

We dined on a Saturday night in August. We were seated promptly and the server was attentive. The rolls with garlic were outstanding. Our two entrees were penni ala vodka , and a nightly special was snapper. The pasta dish was very good but the Snapper was lacking in quality. The vibe was great and we would go again. We would probably stick to the Italian dishes.

Art Basil was an absolute delight. We tried the chicken Parmesan and bruschetta, and enjoyed every bite. The Shirley Temples were exceptional. The artwork was stunning, and the staff was incredibly friendly.

First time dining and I loved the place. We look for family type out of the way restaurants and this place rocks. The Lasagna I order was delicious and full of meat just like I love it. The artist in the house was someone who has hung her art at my tv studio, and the manager/waiters were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended this place and will be heading back very soon.

We would give six stars if it were available. The portions were excellent and the food was delicious. The Beggars Purse was amazing, balanced with a creamy white sauce and truffle oil. Service was attentive and on point. It was a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to go back again!

Everyone is very attentive from the moment you walk in the door you're greeted by the hostess Her name is Katie who was very lovely and accommodating. Also, Our server was Roy. He was pleasant and informative about our choices and totally full of life with smiles and reassurance that we are going to have, an amazing culinary experience. The vibe is very artsy as it should be ,and fun we highly recommend.

A must try! We've been coming here regularly (every couple of months) for almost 3 years and have never been let down. The whole atmosphere is charming, very artsy, and we love sitting at the bar. Hayley makes amazing drinks and always with a smile. The food is all really great, but I especially love the pizzas and the desserts are the best in the area!

We’ve been here several times but tonight we couldn’t believe how far down hill this place has gone. The temperature inside was between 78’ & 80’. Very uncomfortable. The tables and chairs need to be replaced asap! the chairs are broken, we thought ours were going to fall apart The floors need a total redo. The food was fair. My wife’s angel hair pasta was mush!! Why would anyone come back?? BTW, there were about 12 people in the place at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. I guess we’re not the only ones that have been disappointed with this place. Try Atlantic Ave. Delray, you won’t be disappointed
Lovely lunch today to celebrate birthdays! Manager was very attentive and had many specialty drinks to offer. Their usual menu is available, but a special lunch menu is also offered. So glad they have decided to open for lunch!

The ambience is terrible. The tables and chairs are falling apart. The floor is a total wreck. We ordered calamari that was obviously pre frozen. Very tough. My wife ordered snapper with Angel hair pasta. The fish was also pre frozen as evidenced by zero flavor. The pasta was mush which means it was very overcooked. I had scallops that were good but the Brussels sprouts were under cooked and hard. Save a trip and go someplace else!!!
Our party tried several things and they were all very good. (Mussels, bolognese, veal, and pizza...). Servers were very attentive. And it was interesting to watch the artist paint...

Not only is this a really cool and beautiful artistic type restaurant with a fantastic ambience, but the food was really really good. Eight of us came for a birthday party and the food was delicious!! We had scallops, crabcakes, and lasagna. And for our birthday girl, they made a wonderful dessert platter with tiramisu, cannoli, dark chocolate cake, and cheesecake, which we devoured with joy. All in all it was a wonderful meal and a great occasion for our dear friend’s birthday.
