I love art basil. One of the first restaurants I visited when I moved here. The food is always delicious. The ambiance makes it one of my go to places. I always feel at home and welcomed by the staff. It’s a very cozy environment.

We heard the live music and saw the crowd, so we decided to give the place a try instead of our original destination. That was our first mistake. We sat at a table, mistake number two. We waited and waited without menus or even drinks. While we waited, the live entertainment took a break to roam around the bar with the tip jar. Fifteen minutes later, a server finally noticed that we didn’t have menus or drinks and acknowledged us. We ordered our drinks, then our food. My boyfriend’s Old Fashioned was awful… they obviously do not know how to make that simple drink. They accommodated my request for a specific sauce, so I thought that we’d at least be happy with our food. We were not impressed. The food lacked flavor and the chicken breading was soggy, but it was hot. When I looked back into the kitchen, I noticed only one back there was wearing an hat. Our bill was $107… very expensive lesson not to eat here.

Start we have been siting here for over 17 mins not a server or anyone has even come check on us. The place is not that busy for the lack of attention. I will let you know how the food and service goes if they show up. We ordered drinks that didn't take more than 15 mins, disappointed old fashion tastes like orange juice since they added a whole orange slice with water and a touch of scotch... so far just over 30 mins not a great experience ordered food let's see how that turns out. The duo playing music are great only reason i'm still staying and not going next door. Might as well ride this out so some else doesn't have too. Yup right on target food is disappointing Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, no flavor in the sauce, shrimp taste burnt. The server she is nice you can see the pain look on her face as she tries to take care of us. I know she see's what's happening we are not your local couple that come here and it's obvious by the service and food that we were served. They obviously do not want us to come back it's a shame since we own property here and have been exploring the neighborhood. I gave you my experience this may not be yours,

First time we attended Art Basel and was primarily because a performer and his sister where the entertainment. I always enjoy seeing Tony and Kaz. They totally added to a pleasant atmosphere. The food was very good, fettuccine and veal parmigiana. The drinks where pleasant and the tiramisu was delicious. Good and enjoyable evening for a Tuesday evening.

I live in the area and wish this Restaurant was good BUT it is very disappointing. There is a feeling of confusion and very poor service. I would love it to be better because it is convenient to me and many of my friends. The food is average at best. I hope the owner realizes that this Restaurant can be a great place if they just step it up and work in a more professional manner.

Five stars. Outstanding experience at Art Basil. The food was excellent, fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. Service was just as impressive. Our server Chris was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations without being pushy. Everything came out on time and exactly as ordered. You can tell this place cares about both the kitchen and the customer. We will definitely be back.

Our third time at Art Basil and it was again very good service, food, atmosphere with wonderful art decorating the walls. We will be returning.
My review is solely based off the service. The food was great. Can’t say anything better than it was wonderful. Sat for the first 15 minutes with nothing finally water was dropped off. Waited another 10 minutes just to try and grab the waiters attention. Food order got put in and food came out fast. I never saw the waiter again until I had to flag her down saying can we get the check? Asked for bread from her and from the person who brought the food out and never received asked for hot sauce never received if I would have waited for my food would’ve been cold so I just went without. I left a tip based off somebody taking my food order, but did not get any service. If they worked on the service they give it would be five stars.

Lovely ambience to compliment the wonderful food and service. We dined outdoors. Quiet atmosphere, both in and out. In a shopping center but you'd never know it from the ambience. I've had lunch and dinner there and was quite pleased both times. Will go again.

Not a good experience. I ordered a Manhattan off the specialty cocktail menu but they brought me a Negroni. When I pointed this out to our server, she said it was a Manhattan so clearly didn't know the difference between along red drink and a short brown one. I had toyed with getting a negroni in the first place so didn't make a fuss about it. We ordered a Clams Oreganata as an appetizer. The clams were tiny and consisted primarily of burnt breadcrumbs, No flavor other than burnt toast. I ordered a pork chop special, medium rare. It came exceptionally well done with the bone actually burnt black. When our server came over to check on us, I pointed out that that the inside of the chop had been cooked until white and she did immediately recognize that this was way overcooked and offered to replace it. As my companion was already eating, I declined and asked that they comp it instead, which they did. My wife ordered meat balls and a bottle of Pellegrino, neither of which they messed up. While they did comp the pork, the bill reflected the more expensive Manhattan, but I let that go. It's a very nice restaurant with a good decor and a nice vibe so perhaps we were unlucky. Our server was helpful and understanding but she was clearly being let down by what was happening in the kitchen and bar that evening.

Solid choice for fresh food. We enjoyed a selection of cocktails, calamari, beggars purse, lobster risotto, snapper piccata, cedar plank salmon. All were fresh and quickly prepared. Our waitress, Ashley, was attentive and friendly. choice of tables on a Monday evening.

I came in with my boyfriend and was greeted warmly by the manager. The hostess has a very welcoming smile. The staff was very polite and treated us like family! Service was excellent! The lobster risotto was absolutely delicious, can't wait to come back!
