The Butterfly Cafe is a very nice restaurant. The service was very good, the waiter very pleasant. The food was really good. I had filet mignon and my guest had Chicken Alfredo. We also had a bottle of wine . The restaurant is expensive but any restaurant in Marathon that is good is expensive. Definitely will go back,
The hostess greeted us warmly, the service by Jasmine was perfect and the food was excellent. The only problem was upon entering the restaurant there was a table of seven people in the middle of the room who were obviously drinking heavily. They were laughing and being so loud that everybody in the restaurant was turning around and looking at the table. It made it hard for you to have a conversation at your own table. I understand this is a resort hotel and people are on vacation...
This was a wonderful date night for me and my wife. We sat outside. We were able to walk down and see the sunset and our food was also top-notch. I got the mahi-mahi and it was outstanding.
