Found this gem through a search for fine dining in the Keys. We have been going to the Keys for the last 5-6 years and staying at Isla Bella resort in Marathon. Great place. Found the Hideaway Cafe and it is truly a hidden gem. We went to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and it was a slow night for them, so we had the distinct pleasure of meeting and being served by Owner/Chef Freda. Had breakfast two mornings and supper two nights. Everything was fabulous. It truly is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food was amazing. The duck was perfection, the steak was cooked exactly as I asked. My partner had the lambchops, which were mouthwatering and juicy delicious. You really can't go wrong to eat at this very small and intimate Cafe! It is family run and Chef Freida is amazing!

Chef Freda did a wonderful job. She is amazing. This restaurant is our favorite of all the restaurants. Roy had a filet and it was cooked perfectly. I had the fish of the day, Hig Fish and it was amazing. We go here every time we are in town. We highly recommend this restaurant. The view is also amazing.
