Don’t waste your time. Completely disorganized & not equipped to handle the demand. If it’s around lunch time, you’ll wait minimum 30 minutes in line and if you’re unlucky (like me), they’ll make you stand at the window for another 15 while they try and figure out plating food for the previous orders, and then it will take another 30 minutes to actually serve your food. While it might be one of the few decent places in marathon; rather than waste your time standing in line- you could literally drive to key west and eat anywhere which will be better

This is a hole in the wall that serves fantastic food at decent prices. You stand line, order your food and then they page you on an loud speaker. You dine on wooden picnic tables. Watch the tarpon, seagulls and pelicans. It's no frills and absolutely great dining!

Great food but Lauren at the food order counter is the rudest human being I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with in 32 years of life.

The only thing this place has going for it is that our picky eater 3 year old was able to get something she liked for lunch. The fish fingers were disgusting, definitely frozen fish that was over fried in old oil. The fries are cooked in the same oil and taste like fish. The fish tacos were so bland. The worst sea food we have had in the keys. Go anywhere else.

Great array of seafood options with a counter service style setup. Prices are fair, and there is a separate upstairs bar area that serves up some nice tropical drinks.

This is the spot in Marathon for fresh seafood. You wait in a line outside and even though it seems long, they're FAST. There are several big named restaurants in Marathon who serve frozen food (they call it fresh. It's not) and ANY person with an ok palate can tell. The mediocre offerings are legion in the Keys.... The Fisheries isn't one. They're always on-point. Sit on a picnic table near the dock or go upstairs and have a drink at the bar while you eat. The bar downstairs has no stools but at least you don't HAVE to go up stairs if you want a drink. This is one of the places that really says 'Keysie'. Try Hogfish if you haven't before, this is the place to ensure it's fresh.

I had the Blackened Mahi on a bun, it was a great sandwich. The Star at night is the feeding of the fish, they feed sharks, tarpon, grouper and some smaller fish. They use the scraps left from cleaning their fresh fish.

Excellent!!! My husband and I travel down about twice a year to the keys and we are fairly picky in regards to seafood; we can have frozen at home so we want fresh, in season while we’re there. You will not be disappointed eating here, everything we’ve ever eaten has been top notch and it was highly recommended by many locals.
